My worst date was when my best friend set me up with her cousin. He never stopped touching me (arm around me, trying to hold hands.. Etc..) sat within centimeters of me and tried to score a first kiss in front of a crowd. He also had awful breath. It could've been worse... But I thought this may be a fun thread!

While making small talk in the car in the way to dinner, guy asks me what my "typical" man I like to date is like. After describing, I asked him what type if girl he liked to date. His response??

"I tend to like more plump girls, like yourself"

Yep, first and last date. Guy was such an idiot to say that, what can you do but laugh it off

I met my prince online but found a few frogs first. Here are some highlights:
- "I am almost finished with therapy and have made it one full year without a suicide attempt. So, keep going out with me so I don't do it again.".... Uh, what? Now I'm responsible for your mental health? No.
- Another guy was taking me bowling. Which was what I asked to do, and I thought would be fun. HE DID NOT HAVE AN ARM. I mean, I wasn't judging him for the war injury, surely, but maybe he could have advised me that bowling would be awkward with one injured arm.

So many more examples.... Seriously, people are weird.

Met a guy online, totally blanked on his name the entire date! He shows up in ripped off jeans and a tee shirt with the sleeves cut off (klassy). Then halfway through while we're driving somewhere he says "you know you should really be careful with who you meet online, I could easily just off you right now". Ummm what?!

I met a guy online and we had a good enough first date for me to agree to a second one. He offered to cook me dinner,which I thought was sweet. Little did I know he lived in a single wide trailer in the part of town you don't go in after night AND he didn't live alone!

When he opened the door for me I saw another woman sitting on the couch: his mom! Apparently he was temporarily living with her for the past four years. I was not impressed. Then, during dinner, she tells me how she and her son have a murder suicide pact for when she turns 50. I had to get out of there as quickly as possible and the only reason I could think of was that I had to get to pet smart before they closed so I could buy a pooper scooper. And, as I was escaping, the guy offered to with me! Then I had to buy one, lol. It was beyond strange.

It wasn't a date, however he was my date for homecoming in high school. We went to dinner with all my friends and their dates when he told me i looked nice, but I was wearing so much make-up that my face might explode.

When i was engaged to xh we went out to dinner after visiting my grand parents. We were eating in the town my grand parents live. Its a small town, and everyone there knows everyone. Most people there have known me since i was a newborn. Well, our waitress was a friend of mine when i was little and my xh spent our entire meal blatantly flirting with her. I was pissed and went outside to smoke while he paid.

One of my grand parents friends saw the whole thing, came over and told me she felt sorry for me, then told my grandma about it the next day at church, with in a couple days my entire family had heard what happened.

I was living with a friend at the time and xh was staying with us cause his roommates evicted him, my roomate and i kicked him out and told him to stay gone till he could see what he did was wrong.

I was hanging out with a girlfriend and we started chatting it up with a really cute firefighter. He asked for my number and called later the same day to go out the next evening. He wanted to go to a local casino that had kind of a nice restaurant in it. He picked me up and when we got to the casino parking lot a large Asian family was crossing in front of us, and he sighed and said, "You know, I really hate the Asians, I swear they would stab their own mothers for a dollar," @-) HOLY SHIT @-) Who says that? I called him on it and explained that I didn't feel the same way.  I had no way out of the date at that point. I was horrified.

He called me several times after for another date, and then to see if I wanted to be "friends with benefits". I called him a racists several times, told I thought he was unattractive, etc, but he persisted for a few weeks. It was weird. I think he was into the fact I despised him.

I was set up on my first and last blind date. The guy DID NOT TALK. I mean, anything I asked was one word answers, or shoulder shrugs. I'm the type of person, if you don't talk, I tend to overcompensate, and talk a bit much. Well, while at dinner, he said, "wow, you really talk a LOT. I've never heard anyone talk as much as you." I just looked at him, shut my mouth, finished dinner, and left. He called me a week later wondering why I haven't contacted him, and when we were going out again. Ummmm no.

When DH & I were dating, I has him park in the visitors spot of an apt bldg. I always parked there when going to a certain bar. Well, his truck was towed.

So we had to get a cab, pull $$ from an ATM, get his truck out if the impoud lot. Which was in the worlds shadiest part of town. Like I'm pretty sure we would've been robbed at gunpoint at any second.

I felt so bad! I made the date so horrible by getting his car towed. I made up for it in sexual favors for like a week. I'm pretty sure he didn't care after that. ;;)
