So DD has had a rash for awhile I've changed everything, bath soap, cut back on new foods, the corn starch, coconut oil every diaper cream you can think of. Even made my own cloth wipes. Nothing has helped so I decided I would give CDing a go.
I have disposable liners but how do I wash them? Sorry if its a dumb question but I don't know much and never planned on CDing. Also how many should I buy? I have 7 now which I know isn't enough but u thought I would slowly build my stash.

Re: CD mamas come on in
As far as disposable liners go, you don't really need them. I have some fleece liners I use sometimes for when we are out and about and know I may not be able to change him right away and this helps prevent the poo from squishing all over the diaper. This way I can just pull the liner out and rinse that off. But now that he is on solids and his poo is solid there is pretty much no need for liners since it just plops into the toilet.
I have mainly pockets because I never stated in the NB phase and I really have no info on prefolds/flats.
Currently I have 40 in my stash and I go through about 12-15 in 2 and half days. I wash every other day because I don't like to go 3 days between washes and I like to make sure I have more then enough clean diapers on laundry day because, well, you never know it may end up being a shitty day

If it's yeast you do not want to contaminate your CDs because then it's even harder to get rid of.
