WTF TTC milestones that sting. 20 months today, and yet another BFFN yesterday - this week is sucking.
WTF H? Our dishes have gone in the same spot since we moved in 2 years ago, yet you unloaded the dishwasher (thanks!) and put things in the wrong place? How do you not know where things go??
My piece of shit car broke down again. It's a 2003 Ford Focus and I will never buy another Ford again! It's been in and out of the shop every 6 months for a major repair ($500+) since I bought it off my dad in 2007. Now the ignition is busted. My mechanic said "Actually, this is a pretty common problem for Ford cars. It was going to give out on you eventually."
HATE!!!!
H has a 2006 Ford fusion and good lord that thing is a piece of shit. We are NEVER buying a ford again either. Foreign cars all the way. I love my Hyundai.
I have a 2002 Ford Mustang that's still kicking ass. Maybe it's a Fusion / Focus thing?
We've maintained our 2006 Ford truck pretty well. It has well over 110k miles now, maybe 125k. The only expensive thing we've had to do is replace the spark plugs, which luckily my husband was able to do himself with parts from the internet, saving us well over $1k. We like Ford trucks.
I was going to say we've never had a Ford car, but my very first car was a 1995 Ford Probe. It was old and it wasn't amazing, but never had major issues besides needing a new tranny at 110k miles. Luckily it was still under a warranty (not factory warranty, this was 2004!!).
WTF girl behind me at the doctor's office. If you are close enough to me that I could hit your arm if I turned around quickly, that's too damn close, especially considering that I'm actually at the counter talking to the office manager about my appointment. They have a little sign up that says "please wait here" that's a good 10 feet from the counter for a reason. It's because there are privacy issues involved, and also that people might not want to say why they need an appointment if someone is practically standing on top of them.
(from my Waiting to O post) WTF bleeding. I need to you let up or show some signs that this whole mess is winding down. I'd really prefer not to end up at the hospital after all of this. I've been bleeding really heavily and passing clots for 6 days now. This is not what has happened in the past and it's starting to make me very nervous. Also, I'd like to have sex with my husband. I'm sure he'd like it too.

Definitely a possibility. I've heard/had bad luck with Dodge too, so my hatred of American cars is running deep.
RE Ford: the Focus is a notoriously crappy vehicle. I've heard bad things about the Fusions as well. The trucks and mustangs are probably pretty decent. But C and I already agreed that we'll get a Toyota Corolla after the Hyundai's paid off and scrap the damned Focus. 3 more years... just 3 more years!
ETA: My momma always told me to trade out cars after one's paid off so you don't get used to NOT having a payment. That's good advice. At least for road warriors like C and I who drive long distances frequently and need something reliable.
WTF hair and scalp. Normally shampooing every other day is fine, but not the past week or two. Somehow day 2 I'm managing to have oily hair AND itchy/flaky/dry scalp. I don't even know what kind of shampoo to attempt to treat that stupidity with.

I hate 1&2 for you.
My husband does this too, and then comments on how I struggle with organization. It makes me so stabby. I am actually great with organization, the disaster you're observing was all YOU, mister!
I wish I could cry. I feel like such shit. On Sunday I convinced DH to help me move a really heavy bookshelf upstairs even though he protested it would be too hard with just the two of us and to get rid of it. We did get it upstairs but not much later his back started killing him. It's still hurting him a lot and he was thinking of canceling our trip to Disney this Friday because he thinks he will be miserable the whole time. It's too late to cancel it but this sucks real hard. Please send us prayers and good thoughts that his back will be all the way better soon so he can stop being mad at me and so we can enjoy our vacation.
Oh no! I hope he feels better and you guys get to enjoy your vacation. I'll be thinking of you and keeping my FX for you. Keep me posted :-)
Me: 30 DH 28
TTC since March 2013
DH, SA normal count, slow swimmers
NTNP as of 7/1/14
Back to TTC as of 8/2014
1st RE appointment October 2014, everything looks good both of us healthy and normal
I ovulated while I was in Mexico. So sometime over a nine day span. I have no idea what dpo I am and I am avoiding hpts. I don't think I can handle multiple days of bfns because I ugly cried the last time I got my period. This should probably go in the 2ww thread but fuck that shit.
@katietopaz try Paul Mitchell tea tree special shampoo and conditioner- the invigorating kind. I have always had oily hair but dry scalp and this stuff has worked wonders for me.
@LinnyDan12 Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a try! Where do you usually find it? Salons?
