Growing Pains?

Has your child suffered from growing pains?  When did they begin?  My son is 2 years 4 months and is complaining of leg pain.  He is definitely in pain and doesn't usually act like this.  The only thing I could think  of was possible growing pains.  

If your child has had them, what did you do to comfort them?  I tried rubbing his legs.  We'll also try a warm bath and I suppose there is always pain killers if it gets too bad, but I'm wondering if I'm missing something else we could do.

My son has growing pains. We spend a ton of time rubbing his feet.

I had them when I was younger and I remember them being extremely painful. I couldn't wear footie pajamas or have my feet covered at night because that seemed to aggravate the problem.

We buy footless pajamas for DS. When I massage the leg I also include the foot.

I remember getting them bad too, but I think I was older.  Thanks for the tip about the PJ's.
