I did it!! (M's bottle!)

So..I don't even remember when I posted that.  But, shortly after..we started working on the bottle.  We tried the roomshare and it was a disaster lol so I started to focus on one thing at a time!  I started by taking away daytime bottles which at home was only 1 or 2 and at my grandmas more because she would only drink juice in it. (no juice at home).  SO..anyways..it was tough..really tough.  She doesn't just cry and get over something..she cries until she pukes. She didn't drunk milk or juice for days.  Finally she started.  So a few weeks ago when she was really on board with drinking the milk from a cup every morning with Peyton we started telling her that the bottle was going bye bye.

I finally hammered down and picked a date (mostly for me bc I didn't want to back out) and the week up to it we just made it super fun and I bought a couple Dora toys for her and that night when she laid down I gave her the plush dora beanie and then the next morning she got a dora bracelet.  So this was last Tuesday..Friday morning I realize OMG she hasn't had her kidney medicine in 3 days lol (mother of the year) and I couldn't get her to drink it out of a milk sippie saturday or sunday so by now she's feeling crappy and has a fever and burning when she pees, but tonight I did get her to take it in a syringe (it's a capsule you have to open and it's really gross).  We have also been working with her on taking meds without puking bc she's getting her molars in and can really use some tylenol here and there.  So basically the first 4 nights I was in and out of her room a lot before she would fall asleep but the last 2 nights have been no hassle.

One of the great things that made me kind of just know she was ready was 2 nights before I took it she woke up in the middle of the night and i told her no to an extra bottle bc they were going to be gone soon and she couldn't have any extra milk, just some water if she needed it, and she didn't flip out, and went back to sleep.  I'm glad I waited I think she was *ready* and I think she's done exceptionally well, for what I was expecting.  She's just so rigid, and it's hard!
After 4 years of washing bottles...I'M SO DONE!!!

Now we need to tackle..eventually getting her out of the crib, getting Peyton into her own room (She is out of our bed, but still in our room--which is still kind of amazing from what we were dealing with before).  H took the alarm remote from my keychain so he can arm the system after he leaves (he goes out the back door, no keypad) incase she does get up to sleep walk eventually the alarm will wake me up.  I kind of feel like Morgan's quirkiness is somewhat getting better...but other days I totally see ASD.  Our developmental pedi appt is next week (OMG IT'S NEXT WEEK!)

Thanks so much ladies for your support, as always.
