Ugh! Hope you got some sleep. Insomnia is the worst!

Now that I'm pregnant again it happens all the time. But, before that I generally have problems if I have stuff that I am either worried or excited about the next day. Or if I know I'll probably have to wake up soon then I'll just start thinking about how much I really need to fall asleep and then I end up awake.

by any chance, did you take an allergy pill during the day? I have found I need to take those first thing in the morning or can mess me up for sleep (the 24 hour type pill). Once I forgot had a regular one & saw the dr because congestion from allergies was sooo bad. Then took the stronger version of the same pill (with 6 to 8 hours left on the first pill) ... what you described is exactly how I felt.
