That has been an issue for me. The pooping is getting more difficult and it doesn't help when I feel like I'm going to pass out after a while. Have you tried adjusting your posture? My doctor said to make sure to sit up as straight as I can. Sometimes I lean back a bit against the tank and it helps. If you can spread your legs out some, that can be helpful too, though that depends on the toilet.

And they say pregnancy is beautiful :p

  • The pushing action of pooping is a valsalva maneuver which causes your blood pressure to drop. The best thing you can do is try not to strain. Take stool softeners and drink lots of water!

  • If you have something to put your feet up on (like a little stool) that can make a world of difference. Our tub is right in front of our toilet so that's what I do.

I do that when peeing too. The problem is that if you do it for an extended period of time, it restricts bloodflow. Combined with the strain of a BM also causing a drop in blood pressure, that will make you feel like you're going to pass out.
