Sides/finger foods?

DD's first birthday party is next weekend. We're ordering a sub platter, making a veggie tray, doing chips and dip, and, of course, cake.

Do we need anything else? It's about 20-25 people coming around lunch time.

Any ideas of something easy to make?

If you are up to it, I always recommend pigs in a blanket. They're easily made and everyone always seems to love them.

  • We did something similar for Cade's party. We had sammich trays, veggie tray, fruit tray, hummus tray, chips and dips, and 2 different salads (italian pasta salad and greek salad). Everyone seemed to really like it.

  • We had our 1st birthday party yesterday! We did sandwich platters, chips and dip, asian salad and a cream of chicken soup in the crock pot. Everything was a hit and we still have so much left over! We had about 20 people as well.

    Happy Birthday to your LO!!!

  • This may sound weird, but we did sausage balls and they were a huge hit. That was the only thing that was totally gone, and we made several pounds of them.
