Congratulations on your trip!!! Im celebrating my first wedding anniversary monday, and 11 years that we've been together. You're so lucky to be getting away. New York has been so snowy, would do anything to be somwhere warm! Hopefully while your there you'll get time away from not only the "special snowflakes"...(which is ofcourse OKAY according to some people on this board to call women looking for support "SPECIAL." I'm not a frequent poster, and I'm happy not to be with the amount of anal retentive people on here. Is your object really to clean the board to be perfectally organized so that every post is in the perfect category? SERIOUSLY!?? And if its not, the person has to be criticised along with your lovely scarcasm and snark. I love the idea of the bump, where people help eachother and freely say what there thoughts and concerns are... But everytime I sign on reading people being nasty and negative to other moms to be is just wrong. Forgot the "Special snowflakes" some of you are just evil snowmen!

We are sarcastic to newbies. It helps weed out the crazies. Usually it goes down one of three ways:

The drive by: They post and never return. They don't even respond to the thread they started in the first place.

The MUD/troll: (made up drama) they post just to get a rise out of everyone. They call us bitches and say they feel sorry for our husbands and future children. They usually have to be banned.

Newbie: they apologize but never post again. Very rarely do we have the newbie that sticks around. We like newbies when they put in an effort to get to know us and how the board works. We were all new at one point!

@sparklenshine_89 You seem pretty decent - feel free to stick around and get a feel for the place.  I know you haven't posted here often, but this is basically the sorority hazing portion of this board.  If you can stand it, you're in.  So take it as a crash course in what we enjoy and find enjoyable. It's a great group of supportive, lovely women, truly.

Everyone else - cats, really?  No wonder I started sneezing and wheezing - ugh, gotta warn an allergic girl!

I honestly wouldn't have cared - I'd have just skipped the thread.  I mean, I would have side-eyed the grammatical error, but we've had worse threads that baby moon plans.

Merie412 I do understand, and also pretty obsessed with frozen myself. I have three cousins that are autistic that mean the world to me. The youngest one lost oxygen at birth from the umbilical cord being wrapped to tight around her neck. I'll admit I overreacted tonight, and just have been a bit sensitive of people calling others special snowflake, to me its being said in a deragortory and mocking way. "Dont post here, post in the special snowflake board." Or hey shes a "special snowflake"
