Lilia... Lalia

Lilia was suggested to me on another post. I love it, but feel like it would get mispronounced so much. Lalia is the same way. I love the the -leah- sound at the end because it's my mom's middle name. Opinions?

    I could get behind Lilia (though I feel like it is the beginning of a tongue twister), but not so much for Lalia, which I really don't like.

    I like Lilia much more than Lalia, which kind of reminds me of labia. Dahlia is nice too. 

    What about Malia?

    I don't like Dahlia, Malia, or any of those. Actually Leila, Laila are my favorite but since someone suggested Lilia, I started branching out :) Thanks for your input. I like both those names but they are hard to pronounce.

    Thank you. I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw labia instead of Lalia. I like PPs suggestions of Dahlia and Malia.

    Layla/Leila/ laila is my top pick. I love love it and had pretty much decided on the name. Not sure which spelling yet. I was just throwing out other options. I did notice the Lalia labia last night so that's out.

    Jess & Adam, married 2009, precious Audrey born in 2011. BFP 1/6/13, 6-wk MMC discovered at 9 wks 2/11/13. D&C 2/18/13, second D&C 4/23/13 for retained placenta.
    BFP 8/24/13!! EDD 5/1/14, delivered healthy and sweet Zoey Leanne on 5/5/14 by repeat c-section.

    Love Lilia. Lalia I think will get mispronounced as Laila. It took me a few posts to realize it wasn't Laila.

    We loved Lilia when I was pregnant with DS but decided against it because there are so many Lilys out there and it is an inevitable nn. I still like it though. Lalia is too close looking to Labia for me. I feel like it could get misspelled. HTH.
