Sorry for being MIA last week ladies! I was on vacation and was sure I could post it and then it didn't happen. I also have done some homework on formatting on the bump and think I have finally found a way to permantley solve my problems. So hopefully it will run smoothly from now on! 

Welcome to the PgAL July 2014 Check-In!

This is for ladies who are pregnant after a loss and due in the month of July. Get comfy ladies!  I hope we are all here for a nice long time!

Since soon everyone will be finding out what they are having (unless you are team green) I decided to add a new question so that I can update our list! 

I am also going to be cleaning house soon, if you haven't replied in the last month I will taking you off the check-in. You can always ask to join later if I removed you in error.

19w today!

Nothing different from my last check-in other than had my A/S on Monday and was shocked how big my LO is compared to my early U/S's from this and previous pregnancy.

As for Vday, I am a total hater this year for obvious (if you know my story) reasons. I thought about sending myself a huge-ass bouquet but decided to save the 70 bucks and just look forward to Feb 15th instead.

Bad headache and morning puking when I don't take my Unisom.

It's been off and on, I was having mini panic episodes last week, but I had an appt today and heard the heartbeat again, and the nurse noted the baby was moving around quite a bit, so that gave me a TON of relief.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to?

Just my US in a couple weeks, eek!

Favorite moment of the week?

Today, watching the nurse smile while trying to chase the baby with the Doppler.

Least favorite moment of the week?

Today, the scale said I gaine 8lbs. Whoops.

Do you have any plans for Valentine's Day tomorrow? Or are you just ignoring it?

We are planning on going out to dinner but SOMEONE hasn't made a reservation yet. HMMPFT.

I was out of town and didn't realize how much I was depending on the ability to check the hb on my doppler until I couldn't. That and just really being open with my family about the baby and that it's a boy was messing with me.

Every week is just a milestone, especially as I get closer to vday.

Favorite moment of the week?

spending along time with DD on vacation, I am realizing how precious that is now.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? Few symptoms right now. Still pretty tired overall, but that might just be my sleepwalking toddler and night terror preschooler.
How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? Pretty good. For some reason, though, this pregnancy still doesn't feel real. With DD & DS, I definately felt like I was having a baby soon and wanted to do all the prep and shopping. Alot less so this time. I think I am just having a hard time letting myself get excited.

Favorite moment of the week?

Last night I got home really late from work (which really sucked), but my kids were waiting at the door for me with big hugs and smiles. Then we snuggled in bed as I read them their night time stories and everyone actually behaved and was nice to each other and we had a lovely time.

Least favorite moment of the week?

Working late and missing my family time 2 nights in a row. :-(

I feellike I may be gettign restless leg syndrome, and the horrible part is I always used to laugh at those commercials but now that my legs are feeling it, it's not so funny.

Better this week. Last week was hard, because we had a major snow storm and I was off of work for 2 days. Memories just came flooding back to getting my BFP last year during a snowstorm, same time of year and work closed as well, only to result in my angel baby.

Had an early a/s due to high risk, but will have the full on a/s in 3 weeks:)

Totally NPR, but I hurt my foot while teaching Zumba class, and it's still a little sore.

Hi Slensic!  Thank you for running the check-in!  Hello to everyone!

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you?

I'm thankful that the m/s has mostly taken a hike, but I'm left with the sensitive gag reflex.  Sciatica is new for me the past couple of weeks.  The sore boobs are also back. 

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests?

Not for me, but if you can spare one, my sister could use some healing T and Ps.  She has been in the hospital fighting some kind of infection.

A/S on 2/26!

Favorite moment of the week?

Listening to LOs heartbeat at the OB this week.

Least favorite moment of the week?

Lots of them, my sister has been sick and in the hospital.  She seems like she is on the upswing now, and will be hopefully going home tomorrow or soon thereafter!

@bunny0711 Thanks for the warning on the Feb. 14 board. I periodically look in on that board, because my angel baby was due this month, but I don't think I could handle reading the stillbirth stories.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? Well I have been sick this week, so feeling TERRIBLE even though it's just a cold. My ob approved me to take an antihistaime at night (and I double checked with 2 seperate pharmacists). So the last 2 nights I have slept well and I'm feeling better. My pelvis has started moving though and is SO painful, I ended up seeing a physical therapist last weekend and he had me buy a belt to 'hold it all in place' it helps, but is still painful sometime<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

It’s ok, I feel terrible guilt about taking 2 antihistaimes, but I have to remember I have heard from 3 sources it’s ok, sigh. At least I’m not sick anymore now

i just feel pregnant. I feel like i'm bigger at this stage of the pregnancy than my first. Or i just dont remember. and today I had a major mood swing. After i realized i only had 4 and half months before due date i got really worried i wouldnt have enough time to get everything i need in time...

I tend to worry about haert beats and I wish I had a doppler.. I heard a HB on the 5th and it was 148  that made me smile. I just hope Im doing a good job to help baby.

Still exhausted. Every day is different though, but just no energy. Backache has started up again and had some cramping today. Have been really hungry again most days, then some mild nausea kicks in. So annoying. Also, I get this really annoying, uncomfortable pressure on my crotch, like I get sore "down there." OB said it was normal, but I didn't have it much with DD. Guess it's the weight of the twins or something, but so uncomfortable. Already waddling! I'm trying to take it easy, but it's hard when DH just went back to work yesterday and I have DD to deal with. The nanny we're going to hire can't get here soon enough!

Been getting anxious again off and on, like I'll cramp and freak or not "feel" so huge one day. Still hard to believe they'll come home with us.

Next week I have an elective ultrasound to find out the babies' sexes, and another u/s at the hospital. Of course I'm worried b/c they're back-to-back (days), but I'm thinking it should be safe. I'm so excited to see what these babies are though!

DH getting a job and leaving me home alone.

@AnotherDreamer Thanks for the advice! I figure having ultrasounds close together should be safe, I'm just a worrier. I'm having ultrasounds every 4 weeks this time, and I guess maybe more if things change. I just totally didn't wanna wait until 21 weeks to find out the sexes (that's when they'll tell you here).

And they'll check my cervix at every ultrasound, so next week they'll take a look (the MFM I saw recommended it be checked at every u/s starting at 18 weeks). It was tightly shut throughout my other pregnancies; I believe even hours before losing my first set of twins my cervix was still closed enough. But it's nice they'll take a look just to be safe!

ETA: With DD I had the pressure a bit, but it just wasn't this early so of course I've been like WTF! I notice it more in bed, too.

I have flashes of worry off and on.  I'm pretty sure it's not going to go away even as I get further along.  They range from worrying about not feeling movement to finding out something horrible at our A/S to wondering if I will survive the C-section this time or get through it with my uterus being okay.  Sometimes I just get that, "This is too good to be true" feeling.  But then I feel a little squirm again, and I smile and think about how blessed I am to get this chance again.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to?

Anatomy scan in a week.  Looking forward to it, but scared too.

Favorite moment of the week?

When my sweetie surprised me with non-Valentine's chocolates out of the blue just because he, "Loves me oodles".  To be loved like that and thought of like that is something I have never experienced with anyone else, and I feel so happy.  Also when his mother told me she has been staring and staring at our baby's picture and she is so excited for us.

Least favorite moment of the week?

Tonight -- after both of us spent a couple hours taking turns digging my car out of the snow so I could come to work to cover a co-worker's shift at my part-time job...only to be plowed back in by the time I had to leave for work -- then having to walk in the snow.  This is not even my full-time career!!! This is a part-time job!  I would rather be home in my comfy bed, but right now saving up money for when I can't work this summer is a priority.

I wasn't thinking about it but it hit me yesterday when the tech doing the ultrasound didn't tell us anything at all. I know it's protocol but some how it still got me nervous.

My next appointment is this coming Friday so I'm excited to go so we can find out tge results of both the blood test and the a/s.

Seeing my little boy moving around in the a/s.

Drinking all that water before the scan and holding in my pee lol.

We went out for breakfast and then headed over to the scan. When it was close to sunset we got firewood and drove to the beach and just enjoyed ourselves as well as nature. That day couldn't be better .

20 Weeks -- Bananna!!! My Week: I ended up in the hospital on the APU unit this weekend. We had weaned my Zofran pump on Friday. Sunday early morning I started getting sick...very sick. I ended up very dehydrated and needing a ton of fluids. I feel like I am starting all over with what I can eat and drink....basically nothing again. I am up even higher on my Zofran pump than before...can only go up one more time and then I lose the ability for demand/bolus doses. I hope we do not have to change the meds to something stronger...I need to be able to work.
