So 3 weeks ago edgepark had a nice medela PISA with cooler set but they changed pumps at end of january and now only have a medela advanced portable double... with little info
I did some research and actually found out the deal... its a starter set now not the full kit. I included the link to Medelas site about the one Edgepark is offering.

I was going to order Madela, but I'm confused because I'm not sure what the starter set is exactly... Will I need to purchase other items on my own?
The starter set is the pump (with bag for motor), the shields, tubing and two bottles. Basically what they did was take away the coolor and big medela bag (which you can buy separately). I plan to use either a bag i already have or purchase a bigger bag & cooler separately because the medela one if $99.

@teresa1896 I called medela directly and spoke to a representative that told me the motor is the exact same as the Medela PISA and that it DID have the 2 phase expression. I had a representative from a medical supply store tell me that it didnt as well. I had him check and double check on that feature because it was really important to me.
I agree... Its a way for them to cut cost basically. I got the new medela that edgepark offers and it looks great. i was amazed at how small the motor bag was and am thinking it will take up less space than the whole set
