Cloth Diapering

Do you ever

Do you ever open a really messy poopy diaper and then feel you have to check the pants/clothes to look for poop because the diaper was THAT bad it HAD to have leaked...and then upon finding none wonder how you got so lucky and thank your cloth diaper at the same time?

Re: Do you ever

  • About three times a day. That's how often I had to change my other two when they were tiny and in sposies.

  • I've only gotten shit on her clothes if I don't pull the onesie far enough back. Thank goodness for cloth diapers. They rock.

  • Yes, all the time!

On a related note, when I was changing DS yesterday, a tiny ball of poo rolled out of his diaper or pants. It was not otherwise a poo diaper, so I can't figure out if it was just hung up in his pants or somehow he managed to poop just one little drop. DH just laughed and said that's where racing stripes come from. Yeah, sure, DH.

  • Yep! I do however have to be careful how I take off said poopy diaper. That's where the real trouble lies.

  • Yes! Every time she has a poopy diaper! She has started saving it up for one or two massive poops every other day and every time it happens I am so thankful for my cloth because I just know that if she had been in sposies at the time it would have gone up to her shoulders and down to her feet! Yay cloth :D
