I am now officially the most pregnant I have ever been. DS was born early and it looks like DD is going to be fashionably late. I was so not mentally prepared for this. What is all this nonsense you hear about "going quicker" with your 2nd??!! I call BS.

I have had it with the crossing guards that work on my corner. I live down the block from a big park and there is also the community pool so during the summer they have crossing guards.

2 years ago - this crossing guard kept asking to use my bathroom and she was very unkempt.

Last year - 115 year old crossing guard kept trying to tell me how to park and would not even pay attention and almost get hit by cars.

This year - the crossing guard is asking me for rides. I say hi and how are you and the response is a guilt trip "ohh I have to go to 33rd street, I have to take the bus, it's so hot."  OH, i'm sorry? 

I blame my father who feels bad for her and sees her at church on Sundays where she crosses people and he gives her rides. He told me to have compassion, I warned him she was going to start taking advantage of the situation.

You are the only ones who will understand and that is why I love JULY14: I was due yesterday and thought I has lost my MP I. Bits and pieces NOPE I for sure just lost it with my bloody show. Okay baby lets do this thing!! No fake outs on mommy or you are grounded till you are 40.

Yup, I'm exactly 2 weeks further along now than I was with DS it is the weirdest.

I'm 3 weeks and 4 days more pg than i was with ds, but who's counting? Ugh and in the summer too. COME ON ALREADY!

Speaking of pillows-I took pillows home from the hospital.  They told me I could (they're disposable) and I prefer to use pillows under my arms when I'm nursing in bed instead of the boppy.

I'm jealous of you women in your pre-pregnancy (or better) pants.  I went out today to get bigger stuff just to get out of the maternity pants and shorts I've still been wearing.  I've never bought anything that big for myself (it's only 1 size bigger than what I have from after DS, but boo that I can't just wear that stuff).  Looks like it's time to pay attention to what I'm eating again.  At least I should be able to get back to my full workout routine tomorrow.

Just realized my kid is definitely going to be a Leo and he only has one week left to make his appearance so I get a ruby on my mother's ring instead of a peridot. /important stuff.

I had to exchange a Ruby piece for a pearl when my c/s was scheduled. I was happy to meet DD, but so sad to give up the Ruby (and especially the future ones) when it was so close!

See I'm the opposite- I'm okay without the ruby!  I'm perfectly happy to let him bake a little longer.  

Today is my due date, and I woke up with a "haha bitches I made it attitude" since so many people were so "sure" that I'd go early and that I would go on my sd's birthday (7/20) or the 23rd (3 nieces (not triplets) b-day) and it is important for me that there are a few days in between events.

DH and I both have July birthdays so I wanted anything OTHER than another ruby. Oh well :-)

My AFI was low-ish a month ago, so I had to get that rechecked today (since I'm now OVERDUE and the Dr would recommend inducing if the levels had continued to drop). 

But my water-drinking and resting campaign paid off! The AFI had actually risen a little and we got the ok to push off induction until she comes naturally. 

I'm actually super excited to know it's safe to let this pregnancy go on longer, only because pitocin scares the crap out of me.

This is probably a stupid/sleep deprived question, but can I take a bath at a week postpartum? I know people take herbal baths and whatnot, but I'm unsure of any concerns regarding using bath products in the water. I'm only lightly bleeding, but unsure if that matters as well. Hopefully this makes sense. Having a hard time getting my brain to work.

Our little dog Stella has been especially clingy lately- she has to be touching me constantly, as close to my face as possible it seems. And my husband is working on his Spanish vocabulary (trying to learn the language) just going over lists and lists of words OUT LOUD. Gahhhhhh these two are gonna drive me crazy... *cue pregnancy irritability and stabbiness*

On mobile and it isn't letting me search even though I know there is a thread about this, but my puppy is making me nervous. She's constantly staring at me with her beady little eyes. And after avoiding me for weeks in the bed she is all over me with one paw at least touching (if she isn't trying to get so close I smother). Makes me wonder if she knows something I don't?!?

my dog is acting like this too. either she senses labor... or she knows I'm somewhat emotionally unstable and she's trying to "help" me. lol

Glad I'm not the only one thinking these things! @symphony4586‌ she started licking my arm and cleaning me- so apparently to my 6.5 pound morkie I need all the help I can get these days.
