this is true, and I have to say I have made some progress.  Anger is my biggest demon and Ive spent a long time trying to get a handle on it.  In fact its one of the reasons I joined this site.
  I havent broken anything for months!  Weekly therapy is helping but not as much as I hoped it would.

Seems like you are the one with the expressed anger issues, so perhaps you are projecting your projections? And "easy" might work with your "wifey", but it generally isn't looked on kindly in these parts.

yes I have anger issues.  I have never hidden behind that.   For the record I do not have anger issues with other people

getting back to topic for a moment for an update on real life.  i just had a long email stream with my sister and we are agreed that we all need to spend more time together so we are planning to try and have a regular movie day.  For these things in life we need to make time

you know what is actually amazing about this board is that every time someone takes a shot at me, I get PMs from other people telling me to hang in there.  So balance is built into the system!

in all honesty I genuinely want to be a better father, uncle, person every single day and for as much as a whirlwind as this thread has been, there has been a good amount of constructive criticism to consider and from which to learn.
Getting real advice is invaluable for me so those of you that have contributed, thanks.
For those of you that hate me, Im sorry it worked out that way but that is what's going to happen when passionate people interact.

My 22 month old already calls me by my first name occasionally, because that's what her daddy calls me. She's be like, "Huh?" if I tried to tell her she can't do that, lol.

To be fair to the "no-indenters", this is the internet.  Indentation wasn't generally supported (outside of some very annoying methods) when writing in html, so the standard on the internet is to skip the indentations and to use extra line breaks (white space FTW!) to denote paragraphs.  That is totally different than printed text, where indentations are supported and white space comes at a premium.

So, yeah.  No indentations.  Know your media!

DD's funny - She usually says "mommy!" to start her sentences.  But if she remembers to be super polite, she says "Mommy, may I <insert whatever she wants> please, Mommy, Tiffany?"
