planking fail in gifs

Last night DH decided to join me for planks.  Despite the fact that the challenge is up to 3 minutes, I am at 45 seconds.


DH was like "I've never done planks before.  How long should I do this?"  I innocently told him he should do 5 minutes and settled in to watch him struggle.


I counted off the minutes, and he didn't so much as bobble.  At one point he offered to plank for 20 minutes.


I ended up letting Showboat off the hook for the 20 minutes mainly because I got bored.


Massively unfair that he can whip out 5 minutes of perfect planking without any practice.

That's right about where I am.  Not DH.

OK now I'm gonna make DH do it and see if he's a freak too. He's pretty out of shape so I may cry if can do it.

No, he's actually up about 8 lbs in the last few months.  Guess the combo of being a SAHD and trying to eat enough to keep up with a lactating wife finally caught up with him.  That said, he currently tips the scales at 15 lbs LESS than I do, so there's that.
