Hi all!
This started as the bleeder's check in (yeah sorry, no fancier name) but it sounds like a lot of our girls' experiencing bleeding in 2nd tri have been doing pretty well lately! Yay!
I'm expanding this check in to include the girls who are just plain having struggles and need some extra love and T&Ps. Contractions, pre-term labor issues, bed rest, hospitalization, etc.
So if you're still having bleeding, or just scary issues going on in general, please post below and give us an update. Then we can smother you all in good juju and well wishes for you and your little baby.
xo
Re: ***2nd Tri Bleeding/Other Struggles Check-In***
I started out as one of the bleeders and I'm happy to report it's getting much better! Blood clot is still large (9 cm at last measure?) but that was slightly smaller and it looks like it's getting absorbed finally. The last few days I've had spotting but nothing out of control so I'm happy
@Rachel5130, if it's been 3-4 days and you're still experiencing pain and cramping, I'd just give them a call to let your doctor know. I get sore for a day or so after ultrasounds but that's because at times they're pressing harder because I have extra weight (my way of saying I'm a bit chubby). I'm sure that's not your problem. Good luck!

I passed out at work Dec. 3, and doctors have kept me off work since. Reason being, I spent almost a week straight afterwards without being able to sit up without feeling horribly nauseous and dizzy. I have continued to be off work because with most any activity (light housework - dishes, picking up the floors, etc) I begin to get really dizzy, warm, and/or nauseous. I caught my blood pressure a couple times during some of these episodes and my blood pressure spikes into 170's/100's (way too high... especially since my pre-pregnancy blood pressures were normally 90's/40's). So... since I work 12 hours shifts in a very busy ICU, doctors felt I shouldn't be up doing things that could cause me to pass out and endanger myself, baby, or patients.
So... where I'm at now... still off work, ordered to 'take it easy' and stop ignoring my body. (I was trying to continue to do things hoping that it would help me get back to work). My cardiologist thinks I have an autonomic nervous system disorder that has never been diagnosed... and unfortunately can't be officially diagnosed until after pregnancy. So, until then, we just try to contain the symptoms until June. Lastly, my OB ran bloodwork last week to begin monitoring me for preeclampsia. Everything last week was ok except I'm anemic. So, at least we have a good baseline now to continue to monitor my blood pressure isssues closely.
Sending thoughts and prayer to all you other ladies having issues.

Thinking healthy thoughts for you ladies on here and your LOs.
As for me I've been referred to a cardiologist for my rapid heart rate. My short term disability case has finally been settled and I was approved until 6 weeks post partum. I also get back pay which is coming just in time as car insurance is due, propane bill is outrageous and due, medical bills are piling up and my check engine light is on.
Eta I just read the post. I hope it's nothing major. That's pretty scary.
IF, 5 losses, 1 son, 1 on the way.
Hope hubby gets there soon. I would hate to be alone right now too
(((hugs)))
@caitykate I hope all is okay with you and the baby!
