Sharing This Blog (sad, but awareness related)

Fuck cancer for everything.

Fuck cancer for robbing this child of her quality of life. Just Fuck it.

This blogger is working to raise awareness for childhood brain cancer. It's a heavy read, but I think a testament to the love of this family. It moved me. So, I am sharing it.

Be warned though, it will make you ugly cry. I'm pretty HAM (urban dictionary if you are curious about this term lol) but I was a weepy mess at the end.

  • I've followed this blog for a long time now. I have a friend (not a close one) who is a friend of the family and she posts these blog entries on FB every time a new one is written. I ugly cry all the time now >.<

Cancer sucks big time. I cried as well. My cousin died last year at 33 years old. She found out she had breast cancer when her daughter was 5 months old at first she thought she had a clogged duct. She fought for two long years. Her blog talked about how she was making videos and letters to her daughter for all her special days.
  • One of my closest friends works at Stanford research center for cancer cures.. She has an Ivy League PhD, and could work in the field making 500,000 a year easily.. But makes close to nothing working long hours in the lab.. She is my hero along with the others working for a cure
