Man Fur. Yay or Nay?

I would create a poll but my computer isn't co-operating.

Dh and I had a conversation about grooming last evening (thanks @kmw08) for reminding me. Anyway, he asked me what I would think if he waxed his chest. So my dh is pretty furry and I can't imagine how painful that would be (not quite 40 year old virgin) but a close second. So I told him to drop the idea because knowing him and his low threshold for pain - it'll be a total shit show.



So it got me thinking.. what do you digg???

I do not like the fur. DH have very little hair and I love it.

My DH is pretty furry, too!  I like the idea of smooth on a guy who is cut like the one you've shown us (thanks, btw ) but I can't picture DH without his chest hair.  When he had is gall bladder removed laparoscopically, they shaving him from nipple line to about 2-3 inches below his belly button.  This was literally 3 years ago.  His tummy hair is still not as think or long as the hair above his nipple line.  It was so weird to see him without his normal fuzz that I don't think I would like him without it.

Now, for someone like Christian Bale or Ryan Gosling, that's a different story

ETA: Spelling and DH isn't like sasquatch by any means, but he does have more than a little hair.

I prefer smooth, and DH has all of like 1 chest hair. A little fur wouldn't bother me, but I wouldn't want a bear.

Ok, MH is a pretty hairy guy, not sweater status, but hairy. I personally like this chest hair, I agree with PP, to me it's masculine, but DH also has some back hair. Not close to what he has on his chest, but enough to make him not want to go swimming. Sooo, I wax him! And yes, I enjoy it. Not in a weird way, but I find it amusing, and entertaining and he knows it. I laugh and he laughs that I take pleasure in it. The entire time I do it, we quote "The 40 Year Old Virgin". I love MH husband regardless, but I could live without the back hair.

It depends on the body!  If he's fit no hair...if he's got a little extra to love then the hair is ok.

DH has chest hair and I'm ok with it. Not a total bear, but more than just a little. I don't really have a preference for totally smooth or some hair.

Unfortunately, he's gotten some on his back and I have to make that go away. Back hair is a no no.

Hubs is furry... no back hair... just chest hair... full on body hair sweaters freak me out. 

I guess I don't care either way... I dated a guy that shaved and that was way uncomfortable when he wasn't on top of his shaving and it would start growing in and poking through his shirt... makes me itch thinking about it!

My fiancé is Indian. He is a wooly mammoth! I make him stand in the soaking tub while I trimmer him down and then I vacuum the tub. I don't mind the hair as long as it's not pokey. It would be insane to keep him smooth! Not only all the time it would take to shave but the cost!

Dh is close to that 3rd pic in the OP. He's not overly furry, but kind of furry.

He has hair growth problems (thinning) everywhere except his ass & crotch. So it makes me giggle sometimes at how sparse his hair is in other places (like his back with a few scraggly hairs). Because of this I'd never ask him to shave/wax/nair.

I do agree it depends on the man. Ryan Reynolds--he'd better be hairless.

I prefer smooth, and my DH is a very strange guy in that dept. He looks like a lumberjack: black beard, thivk black hair on arms, etc. The first time he took his shirt off, I was braced for a bear show.

Dude is naturally hairless on his chest and back. Whaaaa? Did he scare it all onto his arms and face or something? It shall forever be a mystery.

I prefer the smoothness. DH has some hair but not much. No back hair at all. I love the little amount he had. Anymore would be too much.

I feel the same about manscaping. The less the better.

I'm perfectly okay with either. DH has hair on his chest. Not too hairy, I love it.

I'm not into fur at all . . . I guess some chest hair would be okay. Back hair is a no no. Luckily DH doesn't have back hair and only a little chest hair.

As long as my man brushes his teeth and showers regularly, I'm fine with the fuzz. But I'm addicted to waxing, so sometimes I fantasize about sending him to my aesthetician for a little clean-up.
