    I use both. I feel cleaner with tampons, but they always hurt coming out for some reason. Also I really don't like the idea of sleeping with one in, and I don't like fishing around for the string. So basically it depends on my mood.

    I used to use only tampons, but after two episiotomies I have scar tissue and they hurt now.
