Peanut allergy or something else

I am following up with DS's doc but we are snowed in. Yesterday my 15 month old had pb for the first time. Just a tiny bit. About 3 to 4 hours later he had red splotches on his face. They cleared up overnight and didnt seem itchy. He was around a new clothing detergent and had his chicken pox vaccine last thursday. No idea if that could be related. Any opinions on whether this sounds like a peanut allergy? Thanks.

It's certainly possible and definitely worth following up with your pedi before you give him any additional peanut products.  The testing is relatively easy and knowing is half the battle.

Thanks for the reply.  I'm definitely avoiding all peanut products until I can get him to the pedi and tested.
