We are on the hunt for a on routine. The flip daytime organic insert held everything after a 2 hour period, but was soaked. Now we are trying a flip insert and a microfiber insert shoved in a pocket. next will be 2 flip inserts to see if that helps. Then I will need to order more stuff...
Seriously how can she pee so much???
Re: on experiment...
I would think the MF may not help, because of, compression leaks. You may have luck with the 2 flip inserts in a pocket though.
Eta: make sure you check for gaps that may come from over stuffing.
Off to go look at Kellys closet....
While I LOVE the GMD organic fitteds, if you have a heavy wetter I don't think they are a good ON solution alone. You'd probably need a hemp doubler or two with it.
I'm not familiar with the kissaluvs hemp fitteds.
Keep in mind that you can overstuff to the point of causing gaps which allow leaks. We went to workhorse diapers with Disana wool cover at night once DS2 was around 7 months. It worked great for a very long time.
This. I have a Kissaluvs " hybrid contour", pretty much a closure less fitted. It's not the hemp one, but I'm not a fan. What about hemp or bamboo prefolds instead of fitteds if price is an issue.
For awhile I liked the Flip organic nighttime insert plus a JoeyBunz hemp insert in a cover. Then we had to switch to Twinkie Tush Night Night fitteds (with an extra hemp insert). Thankfully now the crazy ON wetting has ended and we are using a toddler PF with a JoeyBunz hemp under a Thirsties cover.
Agree with PPs - GMD fitteds aren't going to be a great ON solution. I don't know about the Kissas hemp, but definitely don't get the regular Kissas cotton - those hold like a tablespoon of pee.
