I realized when responding to a thread today that each consecutive labor has been 50% shorter than the one before it. If that trend continues and we go for baby #4 (not likely at this point), I'd be down to 1.5 hours or less. Pretty sure I'd have a permanent panic attack the entire third tri if I were facing that potential!

Well crap. I have a belly sleeper. I've fought him every night this week to go to sleep after his middle of the night feeds. The only way he has gone to sleep is on me, so I tried this. And he was out in the time it took me to walk to the adjoining bathroom and back.
In my defense, he has amazing neck strength and can already roll over from his belly to his back.
If I don't get a paycheck today I'm gonna lose it. I requested maternity leave paperwork at the beginning of January 60 days before my due date. I never got it in the mail, so I called back and had them fax it to me. I got it 2 days before I went into labor 4 1/2 weeks early. The day we were discharged from the hospital, DH took the paperwork to my doctor's office for them to fill out their part, and I assumed they faxed it in too. I found out when I didn't get a check that they had not. Then I found out that benefits had faxed me the wrong paperwork so they had to try to find a way to just use the info they got from what they sent me. So far nothing is showing up as being direct deposited. If I don't get paid, that's a month with no paycheck. And DH was off for 3 weeks without pay, so we can't rely on his check. Why can't this shit be easier?!

Ugh, I'm so sorry!! I had a major fight with my ELB people this week, finally ended up telling them I'm on bed rest for my BP and they are raising it! Fx you get your check!!!
ETA @mrsdahamm ugh that sounds so stressful. I'm sorry you're being jerked around. I have paycheck anxiety, too. GL to you!
I am in SO much of a better mood today. Miraculously. I went to the pool yesterday and today my pain is MUCH better, I called a therapist to get myself set up for some post-partum visits (history of depression) and I just found out I'm GBS negative.
Somehow there was a miscommunication and I didn't realize I needed to file a claim for short term disability separate from my maternity leave. I'm so frustrated right now I could cry. I have no idea when I'll ever get paid.

The only way Niklas would sleep was on his belly. Fast forward 2.5 years and he still needs to be on his belly to fall asleep. Here the Drs didn't say much, just to keep a sensor for him under his mattress.
Mia does this too. I've been sleeping with her on my chest, or we are not going to sleep at night. Sue me, flame me, i need sleep.
My poor labor buddy @IdyllicPursuit is now at 40 weeks and 2 days. FX that something happens for her today! Since she hasn't answered my messages (very unusual) I'm hoping today is her day!
My second brand new tube of lanolin is now emptied into a ziploc bag because my moronic dog decided to take it again. She's only stealing my stuff. She's conveniently leaving DHs stuff alone. Ugh!
Our dogs have only ever destroyed my stuff. Not one thing of DH's ever.
@karacakes98 LO is sleeping but we've got the same onesie and hat but in pink and white chevron and she's wearing it now! She also tried to eat her sleeves!
Someone left a gift of these handmade jackets, hats, and booties on our door. The card just said "Best of luck!" They are adorable and we love them but it's still a mystery gift!!!
I had some breastmilk (4 ounces) in the fridge that had been in 4 days so I wanted to use it before it went bad. It had only been about an hour and a half since he ate but LO was acting hungry so DH tried giving him a bottle. He ate an ounce. Then a half hour later acted hungry again so I fed him again and he ate an ounce. Ten minutes later he acted hungry again so I made sure he stayed awake and interested and fed him the rest. Now his schedule is all screwed up and he wants to just eat for 2-3 minutes at a time. I finally just got him to eat 6 minutes (his new average) and hopefully he's gonna sleep a while now. I swear I think I have the only baby in the world who prefers breast over bottle. I forgot to mention in between bottle tries he started rooting at me lol Like "I don't want that fake boob mom give me that gooda gooda!"
Threatening to wash your baby with pee water = bad parenting?
Nope. As long as it's just threatening lol LO keeps spitting out his soothie then wanting it back. Yesterday I told him he couldn't have it back, that he's 6 weeks old now and should know better (kidding and gave it back to him anyway, but still)

Or not. I havent decided yet

I paged her in a thread looking a few (2 or so) weeks ago and didn't hear anything. Still haven't seen her on the board since.
She usually does PGAL check in and we haven't had one in over a month, so not sure.
I know she was closing on her new house and was crazed, but I am still a little worried.
Do we know her labor buddy and if they have another way to get a hold of her?
We shared due dates.
Sue me, flame me, i need sleep.
My diaper service supplies 80 prefolds a week. We own 24 birdseye flats.
This feels like enough for now......I think!
Has anyone seen our heard from @Mcsweets lately?! Been wondering about her and the twins!
