We are re arranging the whole house.. Again... DH was not pleased but is getting into it..
And I even pulled out the bleach (something I haven't done since before getting ku) and he's giving me the "you're nesting, knock it off speech" because I told him when I start doing things I haven't done in 9 months, then you know it's nearing time. If he tells me I'm nesting one more time I'm gonna kick his ass
Also poor DS knocked his head on the corner of our coffee table when he was walking around in a pair of our shoes.. DH is now worried the kid is gonna die in bed from a concussion. Smh.
My nesting phase hasn't kicked in yet. I kinda hope it does... I could use the motivation to clean. I've been so lazy lately
One of my friends and her husband are currently on a flight to Hawaii. She posted at takeoff to inform me they got upgraded to business class and Kendra Wilkinson & Hank Baskett are sitting in the row in front of them.
I wish my nesting urges involved more than me going out shopping for more things we probably won't need and then coming home, dumping it in the still unfinished nursery, going to the kitchen cooking random food.
I wish my nesting urges would kick in. The nursery is mostly done except a short list and I can't get myself to finish anything. I just so don't care...
Induction of mo/di twin boys scheduled for 2/24!
}
My nesting instinct is starting to kick in. I just assembled the glider and ottoman and put the lamp together. DH needs to do the curtain rods, I can't do that one. I'm taking a break, and then it may be time to attack the closet organizer...
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me. You made my wedding day complete.
@legallyginger There's an iPhone app to locate Girl Scout cookies. Yep. I downloaded it. I'm that pregnant.
They are not great, I have to admit... but tagalongs have changed my life!
The tagalongs are my favorite, but I had never seen half of the ones that were in your picture. I went on the website and I guess some troops have more flavors available. Boo!
Moving into a new place at almost 38 weeks is the dumbest idea I have ever had and it sucks the biggest balls in the world! All I want to do is watch movies and eat ice cream. Woe is me....
People who let their 3-4 years olds run around the nicu are ridiculous. There's two of them and they are squealing and talking to all the other mums (why is your baby crying, what's wrong with him, are you his mum etc). I'm hiding behind my divider, pumping milk, I'm pretty sure I won't be able to bite my tongue if they come running around to my corner.
Why on earth are kids that young even allowed in the NICU. All the hospitals I've been too would never had aloud them in.
I'm so sorry you had to put up with that, I would complain.

Siblings are allowed. No other kids under 12. They are gone now. They came in with the grandparents, parents already here, so four adults and no one mentioned to them to shut the hell up and stay close. Uuuuuugh.
I'm just tired and grumpy.
@laura8388 you have every right to be tired and grumpy! If I were there I'd be putting my teacher voice into full effect... in certain instances I have no problem disciplining other people's children. That's ridiculous. What if they were waking up sleeping babies??
I'm super annoyed. I was waitin in line for the bathroom at an event and this stupid lady asks the pregnant woman RIGHT BEHIND ME if she would like to go first because she is pregnant.... Hellooooo, do you think I'm just a fat ass or that I've just gained an exceptional amount of weight JUST in my belly?! It's unbelievably obvious that I am verrry pregnant... Not that big of a deal, but I'm crabby and super annoyed and needed to vent.
@cmmo14 omg the Samoas.... best cookie ever. Only like 60g of fat and 9,000 calories for 2 cookies... totally worth it.
I have to abstain from buying them. I've been known to eat the entire box in one sitting. SOOOO Good. Keebler makes a copycat version, just as good. =P~
these are about to happen in 25 min, but i will use a mini muffin pan so i can eat many of them, and not feel like i ate them all. but i will eat them all.
Random thought/question what happens when your snowed in? Like cant get your car home or can't get to work? I haven't seen snow since I was a child and don't remember it being like it is now on the news. As a nurse I know there is no bad weather call outs, I have been shacked up in the hospital for days during hurricanes, is it the same with snow?
You ever get those moments where you're just sitting there watching your bump, and you can feel LO move, and you just think to yourself "Hah! That could be a butt." or "D'AWWWW THE LITTLE BABY FOOT."

Explain this "snowed in" concept to me. :P
I've lived in MA my whole life and I don't think I've ever been officially "snowed in". Obviously if it's a huge storm I'll stay in but I've driven in a foot of snow before. As long as there aren't any big hills to climb or descend (scarier than climbing) I've never felt trapped. My rationale is that everyone is going SO slow and cautious, especially the worse it is, that if anything were to happen it'd be a "slow motion accident" and really how bad could it be?
We're getting a huge storm tomorrow and they've already cancelled school... i'm contemplating going to Babies R Us tomorrow.... we'll see lol
Speaking of snow storms... I didn't go to the store today because I figured they would be packed because everyone needs to stock on on bread, milk, and water... and now I regret it because all I want is soda............ ugh
Tonight while getting ready to shower, I realized how awesome being naked is when you're pregnant. Felt better than any type of clothes I could wear. This is weird for me because I usually preferred to be clothed pre-pregnancy
And I may have accidentally kicked DH out of the bed last night when the ONLY way I got comfortable was lying diagonally with the Snoogle with my right leg hanging off of the side of the bed...
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me. You made my wedding day complete.
My SIL and MIL both felt the need to call to tell me DH's cousin's wife (who I've met once, 9 years ago) is in labor. Actually, they specifically said, "Cody and Taylor are in labor!" They acted like I should be sooo excited.
Really, people...
1. THEY are not in labor. SHE is in labor. I told DH that if I get to squeeze his balls with every contraction, then he can make the "we" claim. Maybe.
And 2. IDGAF
Bubba, born Jan. 2007 * Sissy, born Apr. 2009 * Baby Sister, born Feb. 2014
My h didn't want to leave for work today. I was having contractions (normal for my evening) and he looked like a poor lovesick puppy dog going out the door. He panicked when I told him is call him when I was ready to push and I won't birth the baby in the house with out him.
He was not amused.. But i was!
My H was like...are you sure i need to go to work? Yes, doctor said we're not there yet. He is ready for his "vacation"...we'll see how long that lasts when she comes.
Two things. These did not deserve their own thread, and I need to vent.
1. I am so effing done with snow. And people. And feeling icky all the time. I am so done with this, on top of everything else that has happened today, that I sat in my car for a solid five minutes before walking upstairs to my apartment and ugly cried; and when I got upstairs and was just about to hop in the shower, DH hugged me, and I cried more. X(
2. Laugh of the day, I was talking to my grandmother and watching Law & Order. One of the older male characters got hit on by an older woman at a crime scene. His partner walks by and goes "She likes you!" and he responds with "Well, hey. If I play my cards right..."
I laughed, and said "They really don't get more mature, they just get old!" and my grandmother turns to me and says "The man is eighty years old, and still giggles like a kid when he farts! EIGHTY!" (Referring to my grandfather, who she's been married to for 47 years.)
Dh and I went to Sonic for dinner after our BC class tonight. I got a 44oz strawberry limeade and an extra cup of ice, because Sonic has the best ice.
Now I just sent him out to Wawa for an icee and bottle of soda so I can make my own icees with the crazy amount of ice we got from the storm last night. He thinks I'm going crazy. I told him I'm reliving my childhood of homemade, semi natural, eco friendly slushies
This isn't the first time I've heard about Sonic ice... there isn't a Sonic nearby me so maybe someone can explain what makes their ice so special??
Re: The Randomest Thread
My life feels incomplete without these now. I don't know where I can get them and that makes me a sad panda.

They are all getting on my nerves.
*this should in no way be taken seriously just to let you know.

Also, ditto on the night sweats. I can't wait to go back to being naturally cold (and dry and not smelly).
Which i get, but maybe we need one thread just for that! Hah
