Ugh. I envy you. Both the baby and the toddler go down at the same time and trying to delay one of them so I can put the other down results in a cranky, screaming mess so our bedtime routine requires two people which makes it rough when my husband is late getting home from work.

Nope. Or if so I'm with you. MH has started to take more of an interest in the boring routine stuff lately (hooray!) but J is used to him being the fun parent not the comfort parent. When we both try to do bedtime J has a harder time settling down because he keeps looking to MH to do entertain him.

I was tempted to get one and give it away to a baby in need, but I couldn't find anything I needed to buy there.

My exILs were notorious for being late. We used to lie to them all the time about what time something was scheduled. We once waited 3 hours for them for Christmas dinner. After that we started telling them stuff happens at an earlier time than actual, usually an hour, but also told then that we weren't going to wait for them.
They started being 'on time'.

Sadly, I think most of my nursing tops are empire waist. And I hate them because of that AND that the way the flaps work to be able to feed in them just seems awkward.
I wore them with DS1, but I haven't worn then with LO. I just wear stretchy neck shirts, or something I can easily pull up.

I wondered if anyone would get confused. It's weirdly like mine. Haha. Though for the record. My name has nothing to do with babies. I just picked it bc limabeans and butterbeans were already taken. My favorite food.

Will is really bad about grabbing the bottle or putting his hands in his mouth while he's eating. My EI suggested we find handles for the bottle so he has something to grab. He loves it but it makes feeding even harder! He pulls the bottle down as hard as he can the entire time.

Sorry I've been MIA so long but we got back from CT this week after my interview. My BFF that works at the school said they told her I got the job but not to tell me yet because HR is on vacation so they can't make it official! Woohoo!!!

It's such a relief to get employment when everything about DH getting out of the army is uncertain and frightening.

It's DHs birthday today and I feel like crap. He's all excited because he has all these "fun things" planned for us. I'm hoping he realizes that I don't consider them "fun things" and that his friends would be better company so I can just relax. Plus I'm freaking out about leaving DS with my ILs.

The puppies name is Lentil. He is much older now so I chose babylentilbean bc he is often called bean instead of lentil. He actually has a cleft palate. When he was a puppie (before his palate was fixed) he had to eat from a tube. It was the cutest, most adorable thing. He would get so excited when he saw the feeding tube.

I'll post my old name just for you.

Oh and we are back to full swaddle. I'm just going to convince myself that when he's ready we can just stop swaddling. He must not be ready. I've done one arm out and that's ok at best. Today I got him to fall asleep without a swaddle and he only lasted 20 minutes. This experimenting is causing him to have cranky days because he can't get the decent nap he's used to.

Ah well. I'll try again in a couple weeks....

James rolled over for the first time this morning! Hurray! He seems to be doing things a lot slower than his sister, which is just fine by me. She was walking at 9 months and holy hell was that tiring. I'd be happy for him to wait on that as long as possible.

@SmittyPants‌ the twins are doing things at a much slower pace than DS1 and sometimes I start to worry. Then I come to my senses and remember that I'm in NO hurry to have two mobile babies . I get exhausted just thinking about it!

Random unsolicited suggestion...have you thought about acupuncture? When I was dealing with anxiety issues while TTC (panic attacks, crying jags, inability to cope), I went for awhile. It helped balance some hormones, but its biggest help was for the stress and anxiety. It helped immensely with my ability to cope and panic attacks went away. My next stop was going to be to a therapist, but I felt able to deal well enough on my own and didn't take that step. I haven't gotten all the way back to that anxiety level pp, but if I did, my first stop would be back with my acupuncturist.

I agree. I'm trying to find a dress for the their baptism and it's awful. I have to be able to nurse since Keira won't take a bottle and I'm sure she'll need to eat during the service. I just can't find anything flattering at all right now.

DH is at a conference for work and they would not announce who the keynote speaker was for "security reasons". It is a country club GMs conference in florida. We were thinking it may be Trump or one of the Bush brothers. 

I just got a text from DH that says "Dubya".

I'm still not sure why it had to be kept secret, he has had other public speaking engagements.

haha, DH just called and apparently the keynote speaker was a Dubya IMPERSONATOR! He started telling jokes and acting weird and DH was like WTF???? The had fake secret service agents too.

The guy is a motivational speaker and has added the impersonating to his 'act".

I posted this on FB, But I know not all of you are in the FB group , sooo..

 

WWM14 do ? As you all know I accepted a new job last week . Working at home . It's a significant price difference ( less ) then what I'm making working my 7-4 job . But to have more time with LO I took the position .

My employer that I'm working for now and have been for 3 years doesn't want me to leave . This morning my boss offered me to work part time , work half days , half weeks , days off etc whatever to keep me . So it's the best of both worlds ! More time with LO while keeping my job . Part of me wants to stay at my job just for the experience and to stay in the " business " world .

I want more then anything to be a SAHM . But I know that's not a permanent job . I have severe anxiety about jobs / money . I'm really trying to figure out which way to go . My worry is being out of a job for 5 years while I stay home then trying to return into the business world may be hard . We have so much medical expenses from delivery then when she was back in the hospital taking a $200 pay cut a week makes me nervous . Any advice would be welcomed ! Thanks ladies !

@babylimas My best friend is in NYC. It's cutthroat there. I'm not sure how it would be elsewhere. She mainly works in the evenings to show places and almost every weekend.
