Swelling & Rings

I am only 4 1/2 weeks along and my wedding rings are already very tight .  In prior pregnancies, I didn't have this problem until far into 3rd tri.  I know this CAN be normal but am interested--is anyone else having the same problem?  I can't imagine taking them off for the next 9 months!!

I take my ring off at night anyway because I react in a pretty extreme way to both heat and being dehydrated. I also don't wear my ring at the gym. Are you drinking enough water or eating a lot of sodium (not just salty things, but things that have a lot of sodium in them)? That really affects me. I find that if I'm drinking enough during the day and can keep my hands relatively cool, then my hands don't swell as much.

I think my diet is ok but you are right--this is one of many many reasons to drink a lot of water.

So, I'm bad, but I haven't worn my rings in about 2 years.  I took them off incredibly early in the pregnancy with DS#2, and they haven't fit since.  I've lost all of the baby weight from #2 (plus a little more), but apparently my fingers are now a different size
