First day of trying to wean LO off paci

So, I just put LO down for a nap and took her pacis away....she didn't seem to care they were gone at all. Lol. She went right to sleep. I am going to see if she does the same thing tonight. If she does, I might actually be able to stop giving them to her right away. I might keep one on hand just in case she has a bad night or whatever. Hoping it stays this easy.

I also got her these pull up training pants by Pampers. We are going to start on potty training this weekend. Oh how fast they grow up.

Good luck with both! Don't be surprised if she misses the paci in a day or so. Hopefully that won't happen, but it can.
Yeah I thought about that. She never seems to care about it during the day and likes to play with them more than actually use them. So I am hoping it will stay this easy.

  • Wow! Good luck, hope the potty training goes just as well!
  • Thanks pink. I have a feeling potty training is going to be hard until she actually uses it. I already have a potty song and dance ready for when she does. She loves music and movements and such. so I think once she has done it once and she sees the dance and the song, she is going to gradually catch on. Lets hope.

  • When I put her down tonight without it she did not fuss at all. So, I am thinking I can pretty much not have to worry about giving them to her anymore. She never really seems to care if she has one or not so that's good it was not as hard as I thought. Now to tackle potty training.....
