It Won't Be Like This For Long comes on the radio as I'm driving LO to daycare - so naturally I start singing which turned into an ugly cry the whole car ride.
When I got to work people start asking if I've been crying... Which makes me cry!


Country music is temporarily banned in my car. Anyone else have these morning incidents still?

I was not a huge Hootie fan but I really like his country songs. Country is all I listen to and love his song Wagon Wheel.

We play the radio in LO's room when room while she sleeps so she is already a country music fan.

Oh dear, I could only watch about a minute of that before the waterworks started. Yesterday I was listening to a children's Pandora station while rocking DS and this song came on about a mom reading to a toddler and how did the toddler get so big and I was legit blubbering. I can't take it!

@emilyraymond I'm sure you're not alone, I bet most people don't know that about Wagon Wheel. I get irrationally mad about it because I love OCMS.

Another little unknown fact about the song- Bob Dylan wrote the chorus but never really did anything with it. OCMS liked it and finished it by adding the lyrics and changing the name.

I went to the George Strait concert a few weeks ago. I cried through "It's a Love Without End, Amen" and several other songs. My mom thought I was crazy lol.

Love love love George Strait!! I wish I could see him in concert. But I doubt he plans on comin to southern Indiana.

I love Darius Rucker. He's amazing inside and out. He's from my hometown and his kids go to school with my niece. He's always doing things around our community. At this year's talent show at my old high school a young man w/ Down syndrome sang wagon wheel. Halfway through the song Darius surprised the audience and joined the young man on stage and finished singing the song with him. He really is a fantastic guy!
