Trying to Get Pregnant

Trying not to test yet. Anyone have any thoughts? 10 DPO with af-like cramps

Hi, freaking out lol
10 dpo today!

imageSo this morning I had very light barely any pink cm. I have been feeling nauseous since dpo 5 as well as being sad and weepy (like I could cry or get choked up by anything slightly sad).
I have been more tired than normal and today I was fighting to not fall asleep, but did so on the couch. An hour later I woke up and went to my bed (2pm) and had horrible cramps like af. My bbt temp took a dive and has stayed the same for the past two days. Just trying to see if anyone else has experienced dpo 10 af cramps or not with or without a bfp?image

My chart is below

Re: Trying not to test yet. Anyone have any thoughts? 10 DPO with af-like cramps

  • No, I never have...gotten a BFP, that is. Cramps at 10 dpo? Yes.

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but I think it would be highly unlikely for you to get morning sickness as early as 5 dpo; and since your temp has taken a dive, it sounds more like you're about to start your period. Sorry.

Good luck when you take a HPT!

Yikes! That would concern me...unless you mean heartburn. Or do you mean your boobs hurt maybe? Have you spoken to your doctor about the chest pains you get?

  • Don't know what you want us to tell you. Our bodies have nothing to do with yours. This post was kind of a waste, just take a pregnancy test...
  • At this point, with you analyzing every possible "symptom," you should just take a test. It's not really wasting one since it does give a +/- answer.

    BFP #1: 4/2/12 -- DD born 12/15/12. BFP #2: 4/1/14 -- CP. BFP #3: 4/28/14 -- EDD 1/10/15

    Jan 15  NOV siggy challenge:

  • PMS symptoms can mimic pg symptoms. Also, our mind and body can play tricks on us when we want something to be true we will analyze every little thing until we believe it. Just test or wait for AF. Don't read too much into "symptoms."
  • It seems like if you know how charting works you'd probably know how pregnancy tests work too....
    **siggy warning**  **everyone welcome**

  • I had all these symptoms last month and I wasn't KU. I have also been pregnant before, and had the exact same symptoms (minus the pink CM) when I was knocked up....so I didn't have a clue I was pregnant b/c I thought my period was around the corner.

When I got pregnant with my son, I wasn't trying/wasn't preventing. I thought my chances were so small that I wasn't even checking for things like spotting or what not, so I thought my cramps were just AF on her way. The only change was I was so, freaking, tired, I could barely even make it home from work without wanting to crash in bed. I thought I was just sick.

Last month was my first time TFAS and I had pretty much all the same signs as a pregnancy. So I took a test - BFN. Point being, take. a. test. No one here can tell you if you're pregnant. But all signs you've indicated are pointing to no, I'm sorry to say. Better luck next month!

    Holy symptom logging, batman.

I was kind of bummed that her chart didn't literally say "hershey squirts".

ETA: fatigue, cramps, spotting, temp dip usually are strong signs that my period is coming.

  • Wow thanks, Many of you are mean.
I mean if you dont like my post I am not forcing you to read it or comment!
Secondly if you dont like charts Dont read them!

It was my first time posting and I just wanted to know if any one feels these symptoms or not. Good to know I shouldn't post here I mean none of you are TTC and go crazy too.  Thought that was what this forum was for. Apparently I am wrong, which is fine, I just thought to try something new and get involved in a actual group online and contribute and ask dumb questions. But ok you put me in my place, this is not for me. And I hope in the future that if you dont have anything nice to say dont bully someone with all your negativity.
This is my 2nd month TTC and I AM trying to understand my cycle -my mood swings, I didnt realize you would over analyze my symptoms list emotional and weepy and sad mean different things to me than to you, I put it up for the temp but ok, Lesson learned.
Good to know None of you post asking for ppl to analyze your symptoms or look at this or that.

Thats nice and all, but you heard many of us say we've had the same symptoms and it mean nothing. Wtf else did you want to hear?
  • I understand bfn and ppl have the same symptoms but YOU said my post was a waste of time, yet you replied 3 times. I considered your comments rude. If its a bfn fine, if its af symptoms and most ppl get them fine, but stating my post was a waste of time, then why did you decide to post 3 times, to get a laugh at me. Thats what i meant by ppl being rude. Say its a bfn but dont say my post is a waste of time b/c it isnt for me. If its a waste of time dont come back to comment 3 times for no good reason other than to be rude

  • Wow, that IS one of the busiest symptom charts I've seen in a long time, Overanalyzers Anonymous anyone?

I always wonder about things like charting 'irritability' - like, how irritable do you have to be to actually stick it on a chart?  Is it when you just feel irritable (which, given my work's spotty internet for the last few days I'd be charting irritable all the time), or when you take hubby's head off for some innocuous thing he does and he calls you a bitch?  Is it just a fleeting feeling of irritability that matters, or do you have to be a miserable cunt for at least 50% of the day for it to count?  Posts like this make me irritable, and they happen every day...wait...that must be a symptom, I'd better chart that!

Plus I just noticed she has both 'Irritable' and 'Irritability' as separate chart items - how are those different, I really want to know!

    TTCAL BLOG

    All ALers welcome!

  • @kiravanguard - I'm sorry you have had to go through this.  I made the same mistake. I thought this was where you went to post questions while you were trying to get pregnant or where you could go to vent about anything and then people would choose or not choose to respond based on their interest.  This is not the case - at least not for any old "trying to get pregnant" question. And that is totally fine.  I had no idea discussion boards had these kinds of rules, but they do, and it does make sense to route more common questions to a specific place so that different types of questions and discussion can get some play. It sucks being the "new girl", doesn't it?  There's always a learning curve. :)

Also, if it's any consolance I don't think your chart insane at all.  I think this is just the beginning of your TTC journey and you are excited and are spending some time getting to know your body and your cycle.  And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that!

I guess from now on though, any two week wait conversations don't really belong here.  You and I should both take note! ;)
  • @dominothunderball are you going to contribute to this board in any other way besides white knighting posters who make ridiculous threads? Clearly you didn't take any advice given in the other thread. Nothing's going to change, and your passive aggressive remarks about the board won't make you any friends.
  • @Janda426 - Ya know...you are right about not making any friends.  Although I'm not being passive aggressive, I am just being completely honest.

I totally empathize with you all about new posters not knowing what they are doing and making "stupid" posts - I really do.  I just think the ridiculing that goes along with the "corrections" you all make of the new poster are really unnecessary - a simple - "Hey, welcome.  This board isnot really for that type of question - here is where you can go for that," would suffice.  The snide comments that people slide in are just rude and bullying.

Anyway, since the culture here and how new people are treated doesn't fit with who I am, I need to leave.  It will drive me crazy to get on here and see new people having their feelings hurt left and right.  It's stressful for me to know that someone's feelings are hurt - I hate it!  I really do.  So, I'm out on this community, and that's OK!  It just wasn't for me.  Maybe I'll have better luck somewhere else...or maybe online forums just aren't my jam.

Anywho - good luck to everyone on your TTC journies!  I wish you all the best and hope you will have beautiful, healthy babies soon!
  • I see that 'white-knighting' is this board's term for anyone who defends people from those that bully and nitpick others for making little mistakes...  I'm learning so much from lurking now, oh seasoned regular @LindsRockies

@DominoThunderball I thought your 'white knight' post was very nice, and I'm really not sure why anyone on this forum looks down on that.  I felt bad for this girl too... geez.  It's crazy how people act when they're behind a computer screen.

"Hey @DominoThunderball, before you start assuming all we do is sit back and ridicule people, why don't you read a few threads first. Here, I'll even suggest a few: https://forums.thebump.com/discussion/12244934/newbie-playdate#latest - devoted completely to answering and encouraging newbie questions. https://forums.thebump.com/discussion/12245292/goosebumps-t-p-needed-for-my-friend#latest - massive support for a Bumpie who's friend had a major tragedy in her life. And there are TONS more threads just like this, on the first page even. Why don't you take a look before you start throwing around judgments about something you know nothing about. "

Well its my bad seeing how I just got all the notifications on it and I cant delete this thread so why not read it, laugh cause I was dumb enough to not see the 3rd post stating if you're new didnt realize it was official "rules". But should I not comment to say thanks for the good laugh? I really hope NEW girls learn from my post so they dont get the same thing happen to them without warning, ppl make mistakes and I learned the hard way, and I know I am not the first or the last but ok
