Pronunciation of Corinne

I hope you're not sick of my posts yet! This is the 4th one or so recently and I keep going around and around with the same 3 names! Right now I'm still stuck on Corinne. That is the spelling that I prefer, but I've noticed that there is Corrine, Corine, and many others. DH and I prefer the pronunciation of "Corr- IN" not "CorrEEn". So am I right in the spelling?!

I would say Corr-in for Corrine. I've never heard it pronounced Coreen.

I agree with you. I have a friend named Corinne with the pronunciation Corr-IN. And I have a coworker named Corrine and it's pronounced Corr-EEn

I say Kah-rin. I know it should probably be Cor-rin but when I say it quickly that's what it ends up sounding like.

I would pronounce that name Kurr (like purr)-In.

This is how both a friend of mine and my niece say their name but one spells it Corrine and the other Corinne

Core-een.  The Core-inn pronunciation annoys me.  I see the e at the end makes it a long vowel sound in the second syllable.

I pronounce Corinne as Core-inn or Kah-rinn, and Corrine as Cor-een.

It's a mixture between Cuh-rin and Kerr-in for me.
