Toddler Talk Tuesday

I know we have all been sharing cute things our toddlers have been doing, but maybe we can make it a regular thing?

DD climbs into our bed this morning, I say "Good morning Sweetie". She replies "Good morning Sweetie too!" 

We have a large bay window with a window seat that looks out to our front yard. The kids like to stand on the window seat and wait for Daddy to pull into the driveway or watch Grandpa snow blow our driveway. 

Yesterday morning I had them in the window watching my Dad snow blow, DS was pounding on the window yelling "DaDa, Dada, Dadaaaaa". DD would shake her head and say repeatedly "no no, that not Dada" and she'd point to the end of the street where Daddy's car usually drives away to and say "Dada over there", in a motherly voice. This conversation or few sentences went on for a good five minutes.

@PTarma mine DD does the same thing!

We had a bunch of birthdays this month. Ever time DD1 sings the birthdaybsong she says "Happy birth cake to you!" I love it!

When DD2 gets fussy, DD1 runs and grabs a pac i and brings it to me and says "der der sissy. No you cry."

DS1 was admiring himself in the mirror yesterday. He was staring at himself for a couple minutes and then said.....I got blue eyes!  I got blue eyes!

When at the store she will call every male she sees "dada" and then say "No! That's not my dada". She is so embarrassing.
