Reintro and TTC#2 too!

Hi everyone! I introduced myself in August or September, I think. At that time, I was just getting off of BC and waiting for my son to turn 1 before we hopped back on the baby train. During this time, I also found out that have Glaucoma in both eyes at 36 years old. This is a disease that normally effects 80 year olds. It's certainly thrown a wrench in things are most of the medications used to treat this disease are rarely used in women of child bearing age. Luckily I have a wonder Glaucoma Specialist and OB that are working it out to ensure that I can maintain my eyesight and have a healthy pregnancy.

I developed fibroids during my last pregnancy and was closely monitored for growth. After I delivered my son, my uterus never went back down to normal size. Fast forward to now, I went to the OB/GYN for an annual last week and the uterus is still bigger than it should be. She benched us from TTC in January and sent me an u/s to get baseline measurements of my "friends". Her fear was that they've grown larger and would need to be removed before getting pregnant again. The good news is that while 2 of the 3 are still there, they're small. So, we're back in the game and hoping for the best.

Welcome back. Glad to hear the fibroids are going down. I hope that makes getting your BFP easier.
Hope the glaucoma doesn't affect your ttc too much.
