Water breaking smell?

Just wondering, I'm at FTM and I wanted to know when your water breaks does it have a smell to it?

It can have a salty smell. If you think your water broke go ahead & give your on-call a ring.

In our childbirth class our instructor told us every person she has ever asked gave her a different response. I know one thing it won't smell like, urine.

Great. Thanks everyone. I know it may be TMI but last night I woke up a bit wet down there. Luckily I had a doctors appointment today and everything is still up there lol

Doctor said it might have been just a form of discharge.

I didn't smell anything. But I had a ton of blood and clots.

No smell at all. I think I remember reading somewhere that it can smell sweet :-/

The first time around my child care instructor told us it may smell earthy or wormy. I couldn't imagine that smell until it actually happened and that's what it smelt like to me. This time around ill get a whif of it in my discharge (sorry tmi) and it reminds me of it completely.
