I can't think of anything else. Our real estate agent is new and didn't know any better and when the other agent told him $12,500 he went with it.

That is why you need a lawyer! A real estate one who knows the law and is not associated with either agent's firm.

@stephcarter new real estate agent should have had a boss overseeing him.  Can you speak to him/her and discuss how upset you are?  They should get involved and know you are going to take it to a corporate level/blast their name all over the internet and town unless they give you the $12,500/upgrade the septic system.  Unacceptable and unprofessional. 

This is awful and I'm sorry.

The agent has contacted his boss and the lawyer. Also spoke with the mortgage guy and he's contacted his processor to see what he can do.

I really appreciate all of you! I think I'd have a complete breakdown without you guys.

I was going to say "Yay for the deal being off" but just saw your recent update! I don't think that they can hold your money ransom like that its not your problem that the septic needs to be fixed. I hope you have gotten a good lawyer and that the boss of your relator is now involved! What a nightmare! Hope it gets fixed for you soon and that you find your dream house. I totally believe in Karma and that the sellers and there relator get it coming to them.

@Stephcarter you really aren't terribly far as it is now anyway. We could always do play dates at jellybean jungle or the garden state discovery museum one day. There are also mommy & me play times at the Moorestown mall that we have been to that are fun and I heard they have a new awesome play area. But Marlton/shamong would be great to!
