Low progesterone

Ok ladies I need your help I'm already high risk bc I had pre e last time and it was really bad. I am about 5-6 weeks the dr called and said I have low progesterone levels and she is calling in a prescription. She told me not to stress which is impossible of course. Any of you gone through this? Any advice?

I had low progesterone. I was on PIO shots (2ccs daily) throughout the first trimester. It's actually very common - it's a good thing that they are putting you on progesterone support. Good luck!

I've been on progesterone support for all of my pregnancies. Never had any complications related to progesterone. It's pretty common these days and not much to worry about just take your prescription (could be pills, suppositories, or injections) and it should fix the imbalance right away.

I have always been on progesterone suppositories up until around 8-12 weeks. No side effects and it seemed to do the trick.

Thanks it makes me feel better that it's common. She called me in some progesterone pills. This just has me so worried. I will be devastated if I miscarry like anyone would

I had low progesterone. I was put on 400mg twice a day suppoditory. Mine dropped to an 8 at 5 weeks. I'm now 13 weeks. Good luck.
