Hi Ladies! I need some help/advice/suggestions. I'm super hormonal today, it's not even 9am and I'm ready to throw a chair at my boss. I haven't called in sick once yet while pregnant and continue to put in 10+ hour days. I've decided that today is a great day to go home "sick". I'm salaried so I don't get paid OT for the work I put in and won't need to use a sick day since I've already been at work today. They owe it to me.

So- what can I say that will sound like a reasonable excuse to go home? My boss knows I haven't had any bad morning sickness so that excuse is a no go.

I'm a terrible liar so it needs to be believable. Thanks for the suggestions!!!!!

Or, can you just say that something has come up and you need to take a personal day?

I'm very sorry, I'm not feeling well and need to go home.  No need to give details, you're pregnant and they probably won't ask anyway.
