So I've been lurking here for several weeks, and I cannot be more baffled regarding MissMcCauley and the roll she plays on this board as the little snark ringleader. Not only is she needlessly a wretched beeyotch to almost every new poster here, reaching so far into left field sometimes for a reason to snark them that it's ridiculous, but when you stop and get the background info on her, it just blows the mind. She's 21 years old, has been married for less than a year, and only on her 4th/5th cycle of trying and already freaking out about not being pregnant?! And she's not even pregnant yet, but has a closet or two full of baby clothes. None of you grown women find this flame-worthy??!?!?! Seriously, half the time she comes off as a petulent child, the other half like she's trying to audition for Rachel McAdams role in "Mean Girls." Wow...just, wow. I really can't believe how well-liked she is here.

People decide they want to have children at different times in their lives.  If she and her DH are happy and want to have a baby who are we to judge her.  I wouldn't care if she were dating and wanting to have a baby.  I would try to persuade her to wait if she were in her teens but she is an adult and fully capable to make decisions in her life.

And honestly, I'm not going to waste my time with this, but it may be my 4th cycle TTC, but we've been trying since May so that's more than six months. So if you want to play detective, at least get your facts straight! And there's a lot of women on here that have been married less than one year.

Not an AE. Old school knottie, haven't posted on the knot/nest/bump in a few years. Just rediscovered the boards (didn't even know there was such thing as "The Bump" till recently), thinking about starting to TTC, and started lurking here to get some info. Can't believe how out-of-control obnoxious McCauley is and amazed at how accepted she is on a board that is so quick to rip on newbs for drive-by BFPs or using the word "preggers."
