Remedy for baby acne!!

I have found it!! The California baby calendula cream! I've been putting it on LOs face 3x a day for 2 days and the baby acne is completely gone! I saw that some people had used it online and it is all natural so I figured I'd give it a shot! It was a little pricey, $12 for a 2oz jar but it worked miracles!

Just looked at some reviews on amazon.  I 'need' something for LOs acne.  I see a lot of people complaining about a reformulated ingredient list and lots of burning with application.  No issues, OP?  Have you tried it on your own skin?

I did try it on my own skin and face and didn't feel any burning at all! DS seems to not be bothered when I put it on him either. Will keep an eye out though, thanks! I guess I should have looked at amazon reviews as well!

I really wouldn't worry about the baby acne. Almost all babies get it and it eventually goes away. It's really NBD, doesn't hurt them, and it seems silly to put something on their skin that may burn just to make them look better to you. Unless it is some other skin condition(like eczema) it's best to just let it be IMO.

My baby's face is always drenched in BM.  Such a sloppy eater, this kid.  And still the acne.  Oh well, we match.  My 2 year old said "Baby Ava has pimples.  Like you do, momma!" (   I know it will be gone one day.

All it does for my LO is make his baby acne sticky, lol . Good thing his cute shines through these (harmless and fleeting) red bumps.

I tried bm and it did nothing... Should I be concerned that it's something other than baby acne?? Maybe eczema?

Nothing worked for us this time. I really do think it just goes away on its own. With DD, a friend suggested wiping her face with a cotton ball soaked in warm water a few times a day and it went away! I was so excited, but that didn't work with DS at all. (Neither did BM). I guess it doesn't hurt to try though!

DS has a very mild case.  Breast milk did not work btw.  I just figure if breast milk doesn't work, ill let it go away on its own.

My SIL swears by calendula cream for everything - diaper rash, baby acne, ecxema, sore nipples,etc.

I'm actually growing some in my garden to make my own.

This! We're just putting the J&J w/ aloe on T's since it's starting to get dry. Our pedi also said we could put aquaphor on it.

I cut dairy and eggs out of my diet and the acne is now retreating. His was so bad it was creeping into his scalp and down his neck. After 3 days, it's looking a lot better. Our pedi said severe acne can be a food allergy. Looks like this is the case for us.

bm worked like a charm for me.  She didn't have it very badly, but it cleared up overnight once I put bm on it.
