Does anybody know where you can buy those clocks for kids that have a bear or something that lights up when it's ok for them to get up? We're looking for one for DD, not for early mornings but for naps. Naps have become a huge struggle lately... My goal is that even if she stops taking a nap, she'll stay in her room to rest for at least an hour each day. I think having something like one of those clocks would help. TIA.
Jess & Adam, married 2009, precious Audrey born in 2011. BFP 1/6/13, 6-wk MMC discovered at 9 wks 2/11/13. D&C 2/18/13, second D&C 4/23/13 for retained placenta. BFP 8/24/13!! EDD 5/1/14, delivered healthy and sweet Zoey Leanne on 5/5/14 by repeat c-section.
I found it for about $10 at a Bargain Hunt store. It's worked well for my oldest...started using it when he was about 3 and he picked up the concept right away.
this one has really good reviews on amazon. I think this is the one we'll purchase when LO gets a little older (I don't think he'd quite get the concept right now)
We have this one too. We started it with my daughter when she was a little over 2 1/2. It has worked out well. We set it for 8am. If she wakes up before then she looks at books or plays with her leap frog scout dog until the light turns green. I think my husband bought ours from target.
We had this one but returned it. DD doesn't sleep w a night light, and this one was SO BRIGHT and there was no way to turn the light off yet still have the "ok to wake" part work. It would be great if you needed a night light as well, but didn't work for us.
