Success after IF

Encouragement needed! (PCOS)

Hello ladies!! My husband and I have been TTC for 14 months - I have pcos & I have been on metformin for two months but this is my first cycle of clomid. While I am very excited to have a plan in order I still feel a little anxious about what it will take to make our miracle happen. I love reading success stories, so I've come here in hopes of some new reading material. What is your story, how did you become a mom w/ pcos?

  • I have PCOS and was completely anovulatory. Clomid did not work for me, but femara did. I had success with my third round of femara + IUI. Then got a miracle surprise on my 2nd wonky post partum cycle.

  • Hi.  I have PCOS, and we tried for many years on our own before seeking help from an RE.  We did two monitored cycles of clomid, which revealed I don't respond to clomid.  We did three IUIs, and our third was successful.  Our daughter is four years old, and we've learned that we've gotten pregnant on our own.  (Oops!  Pregnancy resets your body.)  GL!  Don't get too disappointed if the first trick doesn't work.  It's about finding what *will* work.
  • Thanks ladies!!
