June 2013 Moms

I'm grateful for...

It seems like a lot of us are having some tough stuff going on right now, whether it's being sick, sick LOs, DH issues, work issues, etc.  So I thought it might be nice to think about what we are all grateful for to cheer us up a little bit.

I'll start:
I'm grateful that I had a safe delivery even though LO came early and that he seems to be progressing decently.
I'm grateful for a DH who knows how to cook well!

I probably have more, but my lunch break is just about over!

Re: I'm grateful for...

  • I'm grateful that my DH is nothing like his father or brother. Seriously, I think he was adopted. I'm also thankful that N has been such a happy baby the past couple days. It's been a real treat :)

  • Oh, I needed this to day to put things back in perspective for myself

    1. I am grateful for a healthy LO
    2. I am grateful that I have made a good group of friends (both IRL and on TB) with kids about my son's age who have become a good support system to me.
  • I am grateful for my healthy baby.  Also grateful that I get to SAH with LO.  We have good days and bad, but I wouldn't change being a SAHM for the world.
  • I'm grateful that H will pick up the slack when I don't feel well.  I'm grateful for a family that wants so badly to be in Lily's life and will do anything to be there for her.

  • I'm grateful for my DH. He works hard so I don't have to work and can focus all my energy on LO and school. I'm all thankful for an amazing college that makes every accommodation possible to allow me to pump at school and at clinical.

  • I needed this so badly today...sitting here crying and so overwhelmed with life.

But...I am grateful for my two boys and their smiles and how they play together. I'm grateful I can SAH with them and still work in my field on my terms. I'm grateful for DH who is always understanding and helpful and a great partner in life.

    Now I just need to breath and know it's only a stage...DS1 won't be 2 forever, right?? 8-}

Thankful to be a SAHM for however long we can last
Thankful for my sweet baby girl who makes me smile every day.

  • I am thankful for:

My husband works 60 hours a week and only has Sundays off so that I can stay home with the boys.

For having family that live so close that can help me when needed!

For my parents(mostly my Mom) who is always there for me!

    For having 3 healthy boys!

  • I am grateful that both of the kids slept in until 8am today! It won't happen again until they are teenagers, I am sure, but for today I will take it and be glad that I am rested enough to manage finishing a sentence or two without staring at the wall wondering what I was trying to say when I started talking.
I thought that I was unique in this behavior :)

  • I am so very grateful for my little guy. For some reason I've bumped into stories of child abuse and SIDS deaths today and they just make my heart ache. I am so incredibly grateful for his health and for our health. I'm grateful for my job, my company was acquired on the second to last week of my maternity leave and its been very touch and go since then. Finally I am grateful for my partner - who just happens to be making homemade bread - how random - she rarely even cooks.

  • I'm grateful for almost everything going on in my life. I'm a lucky girl. I know I have an amazing husband who is sweet and romantic with me and a great father to our boys. I'm grateful I only have to work part time in a job I love. I'm grateful my husband has finally found the perfect job that makes his heart happy when he's not with us. I'm grateful for our beautiful dream house. I'm grateful for our healthy and our wonderful friends and family.
This week specifically I'm grateful that a good friend has finally found a job after being laid off for 10 months. I used to watch their son two days a week to keep our budget online and when he lost his job I lost mine too and we've been hurting since then. So I'm super happy for their family AND ours in this situation!

  • I'm also grateful that my parents make LO a priority in their lives and invite us to come over for weekend dinners as often as possible.
  • I'm grateful to have a God who loves me and gives me strength everyday to be patient, loving and nurturing.
  • I am so thankful for my sweet little boy. I'm also grateful for all the people in our lives that love him. I may have my differences with my inlaws but they truly love my son. I'm so grateful that my parents moved by us and that they're in our daily lives. I feel like it's my dream come true after living an hour from them for 4 years. I'm very grateful for my sweet hard working husband. He is a wonderful father and makes me feel beautiful. It has been a huge adjustment for everyone the last 7 months and although it hasn't been easy I'm more sure than ever that I picked a wonderful man to spend my life with.
