Wow, I thought somebody bumped the Facebook post from last week. Imagine my surprise...

Everyone on TB is like an imaginary Internet person to me. Each of us "exist" and are potentially "real" but I have no real frame of reference except what is written here. I'm enjoying getting to know folks and maybe once babies come along, I'll consider joining a FB group.

There was a subway in the Walmart I was shopping at. It was so hard not to go grab a sub. I had just eaten lunch though and just couldn't do it! I'll save that delight for tomorrow!

My KFC ran out of Mac and cheese. Ran out!!! It's a travesty. But Bojangles came to my rescue. I am now boycotting KFC. They shouldn't mess with a woman craving Mac and cheese. I almost went through the drive through window at the girl.

We haven't gone back to ours ever since they refused to give us millions of sides of biscuits instead of other things.

I went to Chipotle a few weeks back and they had run out of tortillas. How the hell does a burrito restaurant run out of tortilla shells? I turned around and left and made it to Moe's before they closed.

Yeah, burrito bowl is no bueno for me since all I want is the meat, rice, and cheese to begin with. At least give me the carbs to wrap around it all.

Being someone who speaks German, my first thought when seeing "SS Facebook group" was that you were comparing the group to the Stadts Sicherheit (The Stasi, German police during WW2) because their symbol is SS. Then I realized that was a ridiculous thought. And that, my friends, is all I have to contribute.

So I'm amused that my post kind of pointed out the fact they pay so little attention to the board that using a common acronym made them think I was comparing a FB group to the Nazi police. Seriously? Just wow...

Wow I reread what I wrote. I can see why you thought what you did. However, to clarify i don't want anyone thinking I seriously would call anyone such atrocious names. As a German speaker that was my first recognition and not the acronym you meant. Not because of you but because after years of German history studying that's what my brain does. It has been trained to see such things. And I posted it because I thought it would be clear that I was saying something sarcastically because this chain, is well, ran into the ground. I apologize if what I said sounded like it was directed at anyone. It was directed at my outrageous brain for thinking that first.

Ok, makes total sense.. my brain just kind of instantly went to "WTH? Who would really think I'd go from slight snark to calling people Nazis?!?" Yay pregnancy brain, gotta love it!

Bahaha, certainly not a German major who knows better. Unfortunately, I've done this like 8 times this week at work.
