Question about E2 #'s and egg maturity (xp)

So my last IUI was a BFN... I used Menopur and Ovidrel.  I was told by the nurse the day before the IUI that everything looked great and I had 3 mature follies and one "maybe"... I just looked through all my lab work from that cycle and my Estradoil reading the day before the IUI was only 176  so how could I have 3"mature" follies ...shouldn't it have been much much higher? By ultrasound they appeared mature  but not according to the blood work from what I have researched thus far...

 I am moving on to IVF so this is a mute point in some ways ( what is done is done) but now I am worried inside my "large" follies there are nothing but just little crappy immature eggs.  I plan on asking about this next week when I go in, but thought maybe you ladies might have some input here...   I am hardcore stressing and I haven't started stimms yet!

That is surprising... each mature follicle produces about 100-200 units of estradiol, so 176 total for three "mature" follicles doesn't add up. 

What meds are you using for IVF? Are you adding FSH to the mix?

I'm using max of menopur and Ganirelix with hcg trigger

I will say that my E2 reading from the morning of trigger or before trigger- I forget (took the trigger shot at night) did not show that I had 16 mature eggs at all! It was around 1200. So I think it really jumps that day after trigger.

My e2 levels with my cycles were approximately:

850 = 8 mature

900 = 6 mature

1100 = 6 mature

1500 = 10 mature 

I agree that your numbers are a little low to have had 3 mature eggs in your follicles. Definitely ask about it and best of luck to you on your next attempt.
