What do you ladies have for us?
I know this has been said but with the crazy amount of ladies who are in L&D or delivering their LO's, I'm saying it again. If you haven't been active on this board why in the hell do you think we care that you're in L&D? Why do you think we want to read to your updates about your progression while in L&D? And finally, why do we care that you've delivered your LO?
I mean I'm all for safe deliveries of happy healthy babies but we don't know you. It's basically like walking up to a group of women who all know each other but have no idea who you are and saying OMGZZZ I HAD A BABY. My response? "I don't give any fucks!"
And also, it bothers me (more than it probably should) that so many people comment and congratulate soandso even though soandso has never been around to offer support to the board. So there!

Re: UO Thursday
— The Doctor, Season 3, Episode 6
my UO: people are starting to really annoy me when they post 900 different threads a day about meaningless shit. I get one or two and I completely understand baby related things like the hospital bag. but when you're constantly posting about what shoes you're wearing or that the sky is extra blue today plus commenting on every. single. other person's thread several times, it makes me think you're just trying to up your bump points so it looks like you've been here a long time.
This. Why do some people this it's ok to treat the bump like it's their own personal blog!? I don't care if it's windy in your city today or that you farted 2 hours ago.
I almost posted a thread because I peed in my hand earlier.. I guess when I leaned forward to wipe it pushed a little more pee out. I was curious if this has happened to anyone else but I guess I will keep that little gem to myself! ;-)
My UO: I really, really, really don't like charm bracelets, bangles, or any other noisey jewelry. I work with a bunch of women that wear multiple Alex and Ani and other dumb charm bracelets and I can hear them coming from 50 yards away. It is even worse today because most of these bitches are back from vacation and had to wear all their new shit to show off. They should have a damn parade and get it over with. They must be in some kind of noisey jewelry competition. Well you all are losers because your choice in jewelry sucks.
haha love this!!!
I purposefully do not wear loud shoes or jewelry... much easier to sneak up on my naughty students this way!
Have to keep them on their toes! haha
I can't stand it when people post about going to L&D and don't update.... drives me INSANE!!!! Whether or not they are regular posters makes no difference.
(I do realize that when in L&D, The Bump is not top priority but I want to know what's up dang it!!!)
@ziggy903
Realistically- I totally get it and understand... still drives me crazy though! lol
@wildflower26
We call body parts by specific names as age appropriate. For example, my son calls his penis, "penis" but when he asked what my area was (he opened the shower curtain and saw me). I said that is "mommies". I don't believe he is old enough to understand that he shouldn't go around talking about "mommy's vagina"... kwim?
Apologies for the tangent!
-------edit:format
He is a boy, but when I explained it to DS, I used the terms penis and testicles. He knows the actual terms. But he calls the general area his private parts.
My mother told me that the outside was the vulva, labia;etc and the inside is the vagina, but referred to the area as my privates also. I think you should teach them correctly, but give them a general term to use.
If someone you know chooses to bottle feed.... Please be kind to them.... You might know know all reasons behind it. Be kind. Please.
I sound like an ungrateful bitch. But I just don't like Santas and snowmen floating around my house all year.
Well, there is A LOT going on down there right now. I can always PM you to keep you in the loop

I peed all over myself this morning while I was trying to leave a urine sample at the OB's. "Mid-stream catch"? I can't see the damn stream!Funny/embarrassing stories get a pass in my book. Hell, I posted about my own unfortunate gaseous escape just a few days ago!
I'm on Mobil don't know how??
My UO: I loathe Hallmark ornaments. I think they look cheap even though they're not priced cheaply. I also don't want a collection of cat hallmark ornaments just because I have cats.
Also, we received a 1st time parents Hallmark ornament this year from MIL. It's tacky, and it makes me uncomfortable. I just feel like we're not really first time parents until whenever LO arrives, so the ornament should be given in 2014. At the very least, I'm ripping the 2013 charm off it.

My UO: I can not stand root beer (or any other flavor) floats and am completely disgusted when I hear about people enjoying them. It probably because sooo small though.
