My husband and I are trying to have our second child we have been trying for 4 months this month we did as usually using a AF tracking app and a ovulation predictor. O on Dec 15 and was supposed to start on the 27th no AF and BFN on home test. Called my doctor but all they said was wait a few more days and test again, then either call them back or wait till next month and see if I miss it again. My period is usually very normal IDK what to do. Any suggestions I am going crazy and taking my husband with me LOL
Re: New here, Need some advice
Your period is always "regular" until it's not. Everyone has a wonky cycle. It's common. Good luck.
LFAF Summer 2016 Awards:
Welcome! It sounds like you're using a period tracker, which is entirely useless unless it's taking your BBT into account. Those trackers are based on an average CD14 ovulation, which is not true for every woman. If you can't turn a HPT right now, it's likely that you ovulated later than your usual. The general rule of thumb is to keep taking tests once a week (or however often you like) until you either get a positive or hit CD60 with no period (which is when it's wise to contact your doctor). Your cycle can vary at any time, for any reason.
If this isn't your month, I'd highly recommend tracking your BBT (which is the only true way to confirm ovulation yourself) and sign up for Fertility Friend. And read the newbie blog (pinned at the top...there's a lot of good information there. Good luck!

Your doctor is wise. Don't call them back until you hit 60 days without your period or a BFP. Do as the others said above, read the newbie blog, delete your useless period tracker and ovulation predictor, sign up for Fertility Friend, start temping, and you'll be good to go
My days sucks, fertility friend can confirm ovulation and use science to help you determine when to get AF- not a blanket textbook estimate. You'll be better off without it

Why are people always convinced that having had a baby means you understand how your body works? One venture into 1st Tri shows this to be false.
OP, by 'actual experience,' do you mean that you're looking for someone to confirm that you're pregnant despite a doctor's advice and a negative HPT? PPs gave you great advice. Just be patient.

Faulty blue line tests and Wondfos happen, testing too early happens, but we don't do "I Didn't Know I was Pregnant" here (unless you're FunniBunni, but she stopped testing entirely) We TOLD you to keep testing, I don't know what the hell else you want to hear. Sorry we aren't going to lie or blow smoke.
Seriously, please tell us. What answer would you be happy with?
