My LO dropped her nighttime feeding a long time ago. She has consistently slept through the night until 5-6am. However, 2 weeks ago she started waking up earlier, around 4. This week she has been waking up 3-5 times a night, talking or crying for a minute or two. We don't go in her room since we sleep trained her and she eventually falls back to sleep, but we are all losing sleep over it. She is almost 10 months and I'm wondering if this is a phase she's going through or maybe she's hungry? She sleeps about 10 hours a night and naps for about 3 hours during the day. Do you think I should not let her sleep so much during the day? Anyone else experiencing this?
Re: Help! Night waking!
Also sleeping through the night isn't common like most people will have you think. I get that you're tired, my 12 month old still wakes at least once, usually twice, a night to eat. And she is legitimately hungry. She will eventually sttn, for now I'll cherish her needing me because before I know it, she won't.
We did not do any sleep training. I work FT so any extra cuddling is OK with me.
