Can I wear my glasses?

I know this is dumb but they said I can't wear my contacts and without my glasses I definitely won't be able to see what baby looks like!

I had an epidural and was allowed to keep my glasses on.  I was told that if I was put under I would not be able to keep them on, of course if I was put under I wouldn't need them anyhow.

Why no contacts? I was able to wear them for all three of my c sections.

 I asked today about contacts and they said no in case they would need to put me under.

I wore them during both of mine. They did make me take out my earrings which was almost a problem the second time... we couldn't get the back off one of them. I finally managed though!

I wore my contacts for my c-section. No one said anything to me about it.

I wore my glasses the entire time. They didn't seem to mind.

I was put under, so no. Although they said I could bring them in with me until I was put under, but I just opted to leave them with my husband.

I wore my contacts the whole time. Nobody even asked about it.
Actually when I had an upper GI done 2 years ago they put me under and I was allowed to keep contacts in.

I kept my contacts in as well. No mentioning of taking them out either. My doctor knew I wore them because he made sure I got my eyes checked during my pregnancy.

I was not allowed contacts but was allowed my glasses.

They just had me take my glasses of while getting me ready, once I was laid out on the table they put them on for me.  I was ok with that though because it meant I didn't have to see all the surgery stuff before hand and get all freaked out. lol
