Waking up with a hot face

   During the last 2 months I noticed that sometimes, after I sleep in the noon I wake up with red cheeks and I feel them hot, burning. But in the past week, I`m waking up always with this issue, and sometimes it`s really bad, I wake up in the night to pee and and my cheeks are really hot and red and also my heart is beating fast, I can fell my pulse in my whole body.

   Anyone else has this thing going on?

   I have my appt this friday and i`ll ask the doctor, but until then, maybe you tell me your opinion.

Every time I wake up in the middle of the night to pee, I have very hot cheeks and I feel anxious and overheated. I think mine is simply because I'm hot most of the time now anyway, and at night my husband wraps himself around me like another blanket - too hot in our bed...

I can`t stand the heat lately.... I always heated my house to 30 * celsius in the winter. Now I didn`t even open the heaters and we have 22* C in the house... And I`m still hot.

Thanks God it`s not Summer though!

That happened to me this past weekend.. just the left side of my face mostly my cheek.... found out yesterday that I have strep throat... so hopefully it's not because you are sick. I still have it a little bit... but am on Meds now so hoping it goes away!

I wake up like this all the time. Just assume I'm getting too warm in my sleep. I usually drink a glass of cold water and then feel better.

This happens to me nightly, I never thought of it as a problem before so please share any input your dr gives you. I just keep a cup in my bathroom and get a drink of cold water everytime I wake up to pee (about 4 times a night).

I`ll ask him tomorrow.

I asked him, he said it`s normal, it`s because of the increased blood flow.
