Welcome to TTCAL CheckIn!

I hope I can find you all well and positive this week! Please don't be shy in asking the PGAL/PAL ladies questions if you have them. Lots of baby dust on all of you!

Where are you in your TTCAL journey?

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming?

QOTW: Do you feel like you are in a good place to TTC? How did you know that you are ready?

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?

Re: TTCAL Check In

  • Where are you in your TTCAL journey?
Its been 2 months since we lost our recent angel Olivia and I have gone thru my first AF and waiting for the next one. I am still on BC until May and see what happens after I get off.
Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming?
I had my MFM appointment today where they did the RPL blood test and they drew blood from me to fill 11 tubes which they are testing for Lupus, Sickle Cell, Thyroid, Factor V, and other blood clotting and auto immune diseases.
QOTW: Do you feel like you are in a good place to TTC? How did you know that you are ready?

I am ready to TTC of course because I am ready to have a baby, but I do know that I need to wait and see what results come back and when they feel it will be a good time.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?

Just hoping for some type of answers from the blood tests but I am prepared for the results to come back negative. If so, we will just have to figure out another plan and how we can try to prevent another loss.

Where are you in your TTCAL journey?  Met with the RE on Thursday to see if he has to run any additional tests on me before my insurance ran out at the end of the year.  He cried because the last time he saw me, I was 23 weeks and carrying a baby bump. He was wonderful, and so supportive. The nurse ended up taking 3 tubes of blood to run similar tests as @irons633
Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming?  Getting an u/s on Friday by RE to make sure everything is good and why AF is not here yet.
QOTW: Do you feel like you are in a good place to TTC? How did you know that you are ready?DH and I discussed TTC a lot lately, we don't think we'll ever be 100% ready, and will worry whether we get pregnant now or later. I'm 33 and DH is 43, and due to DH's age, we agreed that once the RE gives us the green light, we will start IUI again.
Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? Getting through the holidays, we not flying home this year, didn't decorate the house and didn't buy each other presents. Getting use to the idea that I'm going to stay at home for a while. I haven't mentioned this before, but the day before I found out Raynor's was gone, my company announced that our location will be shut down by year end. Friday was my last day at work.

  • @VyD81 Im sorry about your company closing and moving. I know that has to be stressful. I am glad that other test are being ran on you. That is sad that your doctor cried seeing you again. Glad you have a supportive doctor. Hope the results give you some answers. We are similar in age as I will be 30 in August and my DH will be 38 in February so he is anxious for us to try again because he is ready to be a daddy.

  • Where are you in your TTCAL journey?
Day 20 in my cycle. First month trying. I'm very nervous. I'm back on promethium. I'm thinking of testing  tomorrow enough though its still early.

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming?
I have an app with the on in three months if I'm not pregnant by then

QOTW: Do you feel like you are in a good place to TTC? How did you know that you are ready?
Sometimes.  I don't think I will ever feel ready or prepared. After two mc and a late loss my nerves around being pregnant are shoot.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?
I've been being thinking a log about my Bean this week.  My due date is right after the holidays and I'm not sure how I'm going to celebrate his short life.
