@sctiger, our LO is too cranky at night to eat purées, but does fine at daycare. She does enjoy if I give her some "scraps" of food though. Tonight I have her some ground beef, tomato, and shredded teeth. She had a blast and even ate some.

@lizzybizzy80 I've been watching it. I'm not sure if I like it though. It's pretty slow.

@kelly422 it is slow but I was hoping McConaughey and Woody would keep it interesting. Definitely some great lines. I like crime dramas but the ritualistic stuff with the antlers is pretty damn creepy.

Welp, I've been awake trying to console a sick baby back to sleep twice already tonight and this last time was an hour. I'm so sick of this baby being sick. Seriously over it. He is only 7.5 months and is sick all the damn time! Why?!!??!!! Ugh.

@subliminalrabbit sorry your are dealing with this stuff. As someone who did not do a good job calculating the real cost of home ownership (and now has a mortgage payment to large for our income) you are doing the right thing! I hope E feels better soon, hate to see any damage to that gorgeous face.

Just heard about a study showing that women contribute less $ to their 401(k) than men. Well no shit. If we got equal pay then 15% of our salary would be equivalent to 15% of their salary. Lets start with fixing THAT problem.

My SO just called and said he had gotten into a wreck. He's ok physically but he's pissed. The other driver wasn't paying attention and hit him. The car isn't driveable so it's being towed and we have to replace the car seat. We've barely had the carseat for a month! He had gotten into another wreck before Grayson was born. I'm just thankful he's ok. But life can't stop throwing this crap at us!

Thank you everyone! He says his shoulder hurts a little but he's fine other than that. Thankfully the other driver has insurance and he got a ticket for not yielding to an oncoming vehicle. But my poor car has definitely taken a beating lol

Insurance replaced our car seat base when our car was in an accident, I just let them know and sent in a receipt and they sent a check. Only reason I knew it was possible was the Bump. Love these boards.

Yeah, I'm going to have to get one tomorrow. My niece is in town this weekend so we can't use her car seat until we can get a new one. I know we'll get reimbursed for it but it's going to hurt when I have to pay $300 out of pocket for another car seat lol

I was on-call last night and got a call at 11 pm. The call wasn't even meant for me, ugh! It took me 2 HOURS to fall back asleep...then I had to get up and pump at 3:30. Not a happy camper today.

They can fly short distances like up into a tree. (Wild turkeys anyway, I don't think domestic ones can fly)
